Lawrence Central vs. Lawrence North May 13, 2022
By Cooper Trinkle
Owen Quinn, OF/RHP, Lawrence North HS, 2022
Long, uber-projectable 6-foot-3, 170 pounder. My first time seeing the Ball State signee this spring did not disappoint. Quinn was 2 for 3 with a 2B, HR, & 3 RBIs. Present bat speed with legitimate power potential. Fluid tempo throughout the load/gather gets him to a good spot to hit. Tends to get long with his swing plane. Glider-type runner in CF. Showed good range and plenty of arm strength.
A big night for 2022 OF/RHP Owen Quinn (@_owenquinn). The @BallStateBB signee joined the #PBRBombSquad ? & just missed another for a 2B off the wall.

2 for 3 with 3 RBI’s on the night & showed range and arm strength in CF. pic.twitter.com/NssufJNVll
Ahmaad Duff, OF, Lawrence Central HS, 2024
An Alabama Commit, Duff is an elite athlete with more strength to his 5-foot-5, 150 pound frame than one would expect. Hits from an open stance, does a good job of creating separation, and has quick, efficient bat speed. Nearly left the yard twice in this game, once on a line-drive 2B, the other on a long flyout. Tends to get out onto his front foot but is able to keep his hands back. Game-changing runner. Normally you’ll see Duff in CF, but he shows off his athleticism by catching for Lawrence Central. Very quick hips/feet behind the dish.
2024 OF Ahmaad Duff (@AhmaadDuff1) with a 2B here.

The ultra-athletic @AlabamaBSB commit is putting together a big spring for @LCBaseballBears, with a (.450) average coming into tonight’s game. pic.twitter.com/pRJXdk5EXA
Jayden Anderson, RHP, Lawrence Central, 2022
Athletic, 5-foot-9, 170 pound Taylor signee. Anderson is a competitor on the mound with a very quick arm. Quick-tempo delivery. ¾ arm slot. His fastball sat 83-87 mph with solid run to his arm side. Used a tight, 73-76 mph breaking ball as his out-pitch. The breaking ball showed 10/4 shape with some late bite. Anderson went 6 ⅓ IP, allowing 5 ER & 2 BB’s, while he struck out 9.
2022 @taylorbaseball signee - RHP Jayden Anderson (@Jay__Anderson1) racked up 9 K’s in his 6 1/3 IP. Quick arm speed from his 3/4 arm slot.

Logan Crock, INF/OF, Lawrence North HS, 2024
LHH utility player with a really solid run tool. Lean, 5-foot-7, 140 pounder. Crock can really handle the bat, spraying a couple line drives to the middle of the field and laying down a perfect drag bunt (3.8 H-1st on drag) in this game. Plays the game hard. Crock is having a really solid sophomore season for Lawrence North, batting (.371) with 16 stolen bases. Quick feet and soft hands in the infield.
Uncommitted 2024 INF/OF Logan Crock was 2 for 5 with 2 SB’s tonight for @weRtheWildcats.

Bryson Luter, INF/OF, Lawrence Central HS, 2024
Uber-athletic, 6-foot, 160 pound utility player. Luter currently holds D1 football offers to play QB. Showed a short, quick swing with some barrel strength on a 2B to LCF. Twitchy, athletic lateral movements in the infield. Feet tend to get stagnant in the INF. Intriguing prospect with good upside. One to follow in the ‘24 class.
Uncommitted 2024 INF/OF Bryson Luter (@BrysonLuter) with a 2-RBI 2B here for @LCBaseballBears.

Brendan Boynton, RHP, Lawrence North HS, 2025
6-foot-1, 185 pound freshman righty. Compact arm action and a quick delivery. Clean, balanced finish. Very solid pitchability for a 2025. Sat 79-82 mph on his FB with very good arm side run. Good feel for a sweeping, 68-72 mph breaking ball. Picked up the win in this one with 5 IP, allowing just 3 ER, punching out 6. Boynton is having a really solid freshman year, with a 5-1 record and just a 1.98 ERA.

Munster vs Crown Point May 14, 2022
By Cooper Trinkle
Denham Kozy, OF, Munster HS, 2023Kozy is an
uber-toolsy uncommitted 2023 OF that showed really well at the Preseason All-State showcase in early-March. Advanced bat speed and one of the highest exit velocities at that event (103 mph). Kozy hits from a wide, closed stance with some rhythm in his upper half. He can really rotate and create bat speed. Tons of arm strength (95 mph) in the OF and is a solid runner underway. Lots of strength in his 6-foot, 185 pound frame.
Uncommitted 2023 OF Denham Kozy (@Dkoz26) hits this off the wall in LF & ends up with an inside-the-park HR. ?

The 6’0, 185 pounder has a very loud toolset. Advanced bat speed. Tons of arm strength (95mph). Good runner (6.99 60). @MunsterBaseball pic.twitter.com/6wYYK7endD
Brady Ginaven, RHP, Munster HS, 2022
Physical, 6-foot-5, 215 pound Indiana State commit. Sat 84-87 mph on his FB. Ginaven really showed the ability to command his fastball to the glove side. His breaking ball showed some tight action at 73-76 mph. Flashed a 78-79 mph sinking changeup to LHHs. Good command of all three pitches. Smooth, repeatable delivery with a low effort level, uses a high ¾ arm slot. Ginaven picked up the “W” for Munster in this outing, with 4 IP, scattering 6 Hs, allowing just 3 ER, 1 BB.
2022 @IndStBaseball signee - RHP Brady Ginaven (@ginaven_04) picked up the “W” for @MunsterBaseball, tossing 4 IP & allowing 3 R.

Will Moell, RHP, Munster HS, 2022
Moell came out of the pen for Munster and threw 3 IP, allowing just 1 ER and striking out 4. Tons of confidence in his sharp, 72-74 mph breaking ball that he could throw for a strike in any count. 11/5 shape with solid depth. Sat 83-85 mph on his fastball. Pitched backwards, allowing his fastball velo to play up. Tall balance point, athletic mover down the mound. Johns Hopkins University signee.
2022 RHP Will Moell (@MoellWill) was very solid today in his relief appearance for @MunsterBaseball.

Tyler Blair, INF, Munster HS, 2024
Long, projectable 6-foot-3, 185 pound infielder. Hits from a wide stance with a smooth, toe tap stride and a tight, compact load. Rotational swing with some twitchy bat speed. Showed the ability to cover ground at SS with sure hands. Tends to get stagnant with his feet in the infield. Good arm strength. Currently projects more as a corner INF. Improved foot quickness would pay dividends down the road. Good follow in the 2024 class.
Uncommitted 2024 INF Tyler Blair (@tyler_blair9) is a good follow in the ‘24 class.
