RHP Brady Fuller (2021, Southern Union CC) continues to one-up his previous performances at each look on the mound. Fuller was equally as impressive as his counterpart in a start against the No. 2 team in Alabama, tossing 5 IP, 4 H’s, 4 R’s (2 ER), BB and 6 K’s. Fuller saw an increase in velocity since our last look, working 89-90 mph and touched 92 mph (2250 rpm) once on Friday night. The breaking ball continues to separate Fuller from other arms, showing feel for spin on a sharp 77-78 mph breaking ball that spun up to 2780 rpm’s. Although he was a “tough luck loser” in this outing, Fuller pitched well enough to win the game if a play or two went his way.

RHP Brady Fuller (2021, Southern Union CC) continues to cement himself as one of the top senior arms in the state of Alabama. He showed a tick up in velocity, as he has over the last year, as he bumped 90 mph while working 87-88 mph in his inning of work. The breaking ball was the separator for Fuller with elite spin (2700 rpm) and hard, downer action to it at 75-78 mph. There’s reason to believe that there could be some more velocity left to add in the future, because it’s an easy, low effort delivery and looks like he’s playing catch sometimes. There’s a ton to dream on with the arm, but the bat is also in the middle of the order for a talented Auburn Tiger team.

'21 RHP/3B Brady Fuller (Southern Union CC) Each time we see Fuller we come away even more impressed than during previous times. The delivery is easy and he shows the ability to repeat his mechanics on every pitch and can really locate all pitches in his arsenal. The senior worked 3 1/3 innings without issuing a walk while striking out 5 and forcing consistent soft contact. In the first inning, Fuller primarily lived off the fastball and established that pitch. The fastball sat 87-89 mph throughout. Innings 2 and 3 saw him feature that solid “true” breaking ball that showed tight spin and late down action at 77-78 mph. While Fuller is a definite big time arm now, the ceiling continues to be very high with more still to come.
