5-foot-9, 180-pound physical build. In the box, Campbell had a max exit velocity of 94 mph. (72.68 mph bat speed average). (23.28 mph hand speed average). Begins in a balanced stance with a controlled load, then uses a small leg kick stride. Had an uphill swing plane, and his bat speed was explosive. He barreled up lots of balls with some loud contact. Gap to gap approach. While catching, he made throws to second at velocities up to 74 mph; had average footwork, and a clean exchange. Recorded pop times ranging from 2.01-2.10. Had a short arm action with a high ¾ slot. Solid uncommitted rising senior.

5-foot-9, 180-pound physical frame. In the box, Campbell had a max exit velocity of 92 mph. Starts in a crouched balanced stance with a controlled load, then uses a leg kick. Bat speed is explosive and shows upward swing plane. Found lots of barrels with some loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Behind the plate, throw downs to second were maxed at 71 mph; showed a clean exchange, soft hands, and consistent feet. Had consistent pop times of 2.01-2.24. Showcases some flexibility. Had a ¾ slot with consistent accuracy to the base. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.76.
1/18/20
Slightly open with the feet at the plate with a fairly high leg kick that helps generate pop off the barrel. Has some tilt in the swing plane and really keeps the barrel in the zone for a long time. Shows a mostly pull side approach with exit velocity of 85 mph off the tee. Nice setup behind the dish and shows fluid actions while moving very well laterally. The ‘22 grad is a solid receiver and has little, to no wasted movement receiving pitches. The arm strength has improved and will continue to over the next few years. Also showed a quick transfer

Young catching prospect that had a very productive day at the event. Shows a very quick transfer behind the plate and the arm strength is continuing to progress. Throws to the 2B bag were very accurate and throws stayed on line. Was very impressive blocking balls in the dirt and showed nice lateral actions. Threw out 2 runners attempting to steal a bag during game play. Offensively, the set up and approach is very simple as he uses a small leg kick approach to generate some pop. Showed a mainly pull approach during BP but did show the ability to handle the pitch on the outer half as well. Nice looking ‘22 catcher.
5/11/19
Even stance at the plate with a leg kick approach that resulted in some power off of bat. Did a nice job getting the hands back and showed the ability to handle both sides of the plate and use the whole field. Showed nice extension through the ball at contact. Athletic, low set up behind the plate with. Did a nice job with a short jab step with the left foot as the mitt met the ball. The transfer is quick and the feet showed athleticism. Solid skill set for theis ‘22.
1.20.19- Athletic and light on his feet behind the plate, showing nice lateral movement. Has a very simple, quiet approach to sticking pitches and can be a big plus for pitchers. Nice transfer and the arm will get stronger, but the fundamentals and “ball flight carry” out of the hand are good. Started square at the plate with a good barrel path staying in the zone for a long time. Showed nice balance and pop in a middle of the field approach. The strength will come for this young 2022 prospect.
