8/3/16 - Impressive, just like he was at the Under Armour All-America Game. The strong-bodied southpaw pitched three innings and allowed three baserunners on two hits and a walk. He struck out three. His fastball started out at 92-94 with arm-side life and settled in the 90-93 range. His slider flashes swing-and-miss break at 75-77 and he also showed athleticism getting off the mound to make a couple plays.

7/24/16 - Before the weekend, Heatherly wasn’t as heralded as other arms, but certainly made a statement with his one inning. He allowed the go-ahead home run to Ramos, but struck out two. The Alabama recruit has a thick, strong frame at 6-foot-3, 210 pounds and sat 92-94 with his fastball, which had run. The ball comes out well and he can spin a breaking ball. It sat around 75 with slurvy shape, but has future potential as a swing-and-miss pitch.
