03/29/18- Texas recruit. Lean, athletic, projectable frame. The switch hitter showed a simple, level, compact swing from the right side with a base hit off of Barco. There is present athleticism and some twitchiness in the actions with upside to follow.
03/27/18- Texas recruit. Has a projectable frame with quick hands from the left side with balance in the box. Laced a hard double down the right field line late in the game, scoring two. Makes the plays in the field and shows range. Went 2-for-4 with a double, 2 RBIs, and a stolen base.
10/24/17- The Texas recruit didn’t have the results at the plate, but showed balance and quick hands from both sides. He did, however, make his presence felt on defense where he went deep in the hole at shortstop before firing a strike to first base while throwing against his body going towards the left field line. It was a fantastic play, and put the 6-foot-2, 190-pound, proportionally built infielder’s athleticism on full display for North East Baseball.
9/27/15- Switch-hitting third baseman, who we have seen a number of times this past summer. The frame is ideal as he will fill out and get stronger. The glove is plus, more than likely, could play a number of infield positions, but loves third. The arm works, threw 85 across the diamond. Gets off the ball very well and runs well, 4.3 down the line from the left side. The bat path from both sides is flat and direct. The bottom half is stable and under control. Needs to spread the field at the plate to help his game. Tee exit velocity of 86 from the right-side and 77 from the left-side of the dish.
8/5/15 Switch-hitting third baseman who showed well above average at the hot corner. Threw 80 across the infield and has carry to his throws. Ran a 7.25 and has baseball speed, swiping bases will be in his future. From the left-side he had a tee exit velocity of 82 and 86 from the right side. Both sides are similiar, as I think the right-side is a bit further along. Bottom half is under control and the path is simple and flat to the ball. He needs to spread the field from both sides to maximize his skill set but the sky is the limit with this guy. Big time 2018 prospect, worth seeing play.
6/23/15 Athletic at 6-foot, 180-pounds. He is a switch hitter with a good feel for the barrel on both sides of the plate. Both swings are flat through the zone and he showed a shorter swing in the game, in which he had 3 hits. His set up on both sides is similar, even base with limited bottom half action and his hands do the work. The tee exit velo is 77 and the arm was 76 across the diamond. The glove is very good and the path is strong and simple. The arm played very well for me during the game. Ran a 4.35 down the line and ran the bases well and correctly in the game. Another advanced 2018 player for sure.
