10/24/17- Has a projectable frame and worked a fastball in the 89-91 mph range with tilt from a short, high ¾ arm slot. Along with a curveball at 74-76 with depth. Wake Forest recruit.

10/15/17- Wake Forest recruit. Simple, repeatable windup. Fastball mostly sat in the 89-90 mph range along with a 75-76 mph curveball and a 79-80 mph changeup. He has a long, lanky, projectable frame. The arm works and should see some jumps in velocity with strength. Will be one to follow going forward.

5/12/16 6-foot-3, 190-pound righty with a physical frame sat 87-89 early with late life to his four seam fastball. He creates significant tilt from a high 3/4 arm slot and fastball shows some sink when down in the zone.  Flashed a hard breaking 12/6 curveball at 73-75 which is a wipeout pitch when commanded for strikes. On this date the sophomore struggled with command (8 BB, 3.2 IP), but also registered 6 strikeouts and showed the ability to hold his velo out of the stretch. Velocity dropped in 3rd and 4th innings (85-88). Questionable strike zone early in game created issues for Beddow and he allowed emotions to affect his ability to throw strikes for much of the remainder of his outing.
