UGA Commit. 5-foot-10, 180 pounds. This stick of dynamite has had a good jump in velocity since last GDC. The FB sat 90-93 with a vicious bore that ate the hands of RHH, and he’s sitting 2-3 mph higher than he was last spring. The 77-79 SL put hitters in a blender, and just might tunnel better with his FB than any other pitcher’s FB/SL combo in the class. This is an arm we feel can contribute immediately for UGA when he arrives, and really is loaded with quick twitch fibers. Crisp is the ultimate competitor on the bump, and refuses to lose the battle to even the best bats. I do think he has more arm speed than his brother who pitched in the SEC as well, and would not be surprised to see him in the mid 90’s in the future. He also flashed an impressive low 80’s CH with fade and depth that suddenly fell off the table.

UGA Commit. 5-foot-10, 180 pounds. This unreal two-way might be the most versatile player in the entire 2023 class. Not only does he have an advanced bat and sneaky raw power, the approach is way ahead of his time and he backspins the ball foul line to foul line no matter who he’s facing. When he’s on base, its an A/AVG runner with ridiculous reaction time on jumps, playing up his speed. Crisp is no doubt one of the strongest players in the class pound for pound. He also hit 2 bombs in 1 game last weekend!

5 foot 10, 180 pounder, proportional build w/ lots of twitch. On mound, deceptive & efficient 1 piece AA from 3/4 slot. Works from ground up, compact+explosive delivery. Noticeably flexible+mobile lower hlf w/ no wasted movement. FB(88-90 T91), Tunnels SL(80) well. At SS, soft hands w/ quick exchange, can make every throw. Instincts are there. At plate, chest loads the hands for him which keeps upper half very relaxed. Tip toe stride prevents extra head movement. Perfect launch position at landing. Plus runner who would be fun to watch in CF, most potential as position player.

Georgia commit. 5-foot-10, 180-pound right-handed pitcher and shortstop, broad shoulders, strong lower half, continues to add strength. Clean arm action with a controlled draw on the back-side, accelerates quickly to a ¾ slot, repeats well. Controls the zone with fastball/changeup combo, great feel for both pitches. Fastball sat 86-91. Changeup, 77-80, heavy sink, swing and miss pitch, used in any count. Offensively, takes a power approach from the left-side. Aggressive swing, quick bat speed.
8/29/19
Power arm with an elite fastball. Also has the tools to be a serious two-way player with athletic defensive actions and an aggressive line-drive swing at the plate.
