8/5/15 - Anderson is a 5-foot-10 150-pound right-handed hitting catcher. During batting practice, Anderson started in a balanced position, rhythm in lower half and hands, short stride, level path, 68 mph exit velo, runs a 7.91 60.  During defensive evaluations, pop times between 2.14 and 2.41, positional velo of 73 mph, high-three quarters release, clean exchange, somewhat accurate throws. On the mound,  Anderson has a high three-quarters release, smooth rhythm in his delivery and throws with regular effort, athletic finish.  He touched 80 mph with his fastball and worked mainly at 77-79 mph.  Breaking ball was 11-to-5 in shape at 71 mph.
