As a position player, right-handed hitter hits from an open stance and gets to square with a short stride, good balance through swing, short swing path with line drive production, 82 mph exit velocity, has significant pre-pitch hand movement, ran 4.64 down the line, went 0-for-1 in game play (injured hand). Shows soft defensive hands, good footwork with a quick exchange, high-3/4 release with accurate throws, above average arm strength at 82 mph across the infield, good body control with ability to throw accurately on the move.

2/14/15 - 6-foot-1, 155-pound prospect has added 10 pounds to frame since the fall, right-handed hitter hits from an open stance, leg kick trigger with a short stride, line drive type hitter with gap to gap approach, showed an increase in bat speed from previous event, 83 mph exit velocity, ran a 7.50 60-yard dash. Defensively, showed a big jump in arm strength at 83 mph across the infield, very accurate throws, soft hands, high-3/4 release, plays through the ball with solid footwork, high follow in 2017 class. As a pitcher, with lanky frame that projects well, has grown an inch and put on 10 pounds since the fall, works quickly with good tempo, medium backside arm action, works through a ¾ arm slot that produces some arm-side run, shows good command of 70-72 mph curveball with 11/5 action, 74-75 mph changeup is very good with good arm-side fade and sink, projects to add additional velocity as he fills out frame, has a chance to be a top 2017 prospect on the mound.
10/4/14 - 6-foot, 145-pound prospect, lanky build, right-handed hitter hits from an open stance, uses a leg kick and short stride to square front side, has significant pre-pitch hand movement, level swing path, line drive type hitter with mid to pull-side approach, went 0-for-4 in game play reaching base once on an error, posted a 4.78 home to first base time, 79 mph exit velocity off the tee. Defensively, shows soft infield hands, fluid footwork, quick exchange, long high-3/4 release with accuracy, 74 mph arm across the infield, solid 2017 prospect. On the mound, uses shorter arm action through a ¾ to high-3/4 slot, arm shows quickness, works quickly and pounds the strike zone, lands slightly open occasionally, fastball sat 79-84 mph, two-seam fastball showed good arm-side run, good command of 71-72 mph curveball with 11/5 action, shows confidence in 74-75 mph changeup thrown with good arm speed, allowed one hit and struck out two in two innings of work, established himself as a pitcher to keep a close eye on in 2017 class.
