A fastball with hop has a flat approach angle and visually jumps through the zone. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher swing and miss average. Hop+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Sink+
A fastball with sink has low backspin and drops through the strike zone. When thrown down in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher ground ball percentage and lower launch angle. Sink+ of 100 is MLB average.
Fastball
Rise+
A fastball with rise has a high percentage of backspin. When thrown up in the zone, it is more likely to generate a higher fly ball percentage. Rise+ of 100 is MLB average
Curveball
Hammer+
A hammer breaking ball drops vertically with velocity through the zone, or 12-to-6 movement. Hammer+ of 100 is MLB average.
Curveball
Sweep+
A sweeping breaking ball moves horizontally with velocity through the zone. Sweep+ of 100 is MLB average.

The 6-foot-4, 160 pound RHP continues to evolve into one of the top arms in the 2024 class. Projection is off the charts. Continues to see fastball velocity rise, this time up to 82 as a member of Team KY at the Junior Future Games. Possesses elite spin rates with fastball approaching 2400 max, and sharp curveball at 2580 max at 70-72 mph. Moss should have no problem seeing velocity continue to rise and will be a coveted arm in the 2024 class.

6-foot-4, 156-pound RHP. Upside is off the charts as he fills out his long, lanky frame. Generates easy velocity and has shown a 6 mph increase since June 2019. Good command of three-pitch mix. Uptempo delivery with medium arm action through higher-3/4 slot. Fastball mostly straight at 75-77, touched 78. Has feel for 65-68 mph curveball with 11/5 action, also has feel for a 73-74 mph changeup that needs more velocity difference off the fastball to be most effective but displays sink and fade through the zone. Moss pitched extremely well against a very good North Carolina 13U squad at the PBR Junior Future Games. If he continues on his current trajectory, he is a high-level arm with the potential to be one of the best the 2024 class has to offer.
At the plate, the right-handed hitter had a max exit velocity of 79 mph. Began in a balanced stance with a quick load, then used a long stride to initiate his swing. Displays a flat swing plane and high finish. Barreled up some balls during the round. Up the middle approach. In the infield, showed an ability to throw across the field at 79 mph; had firm hands and a quick exchange. Laterally, his movements were athletic and used his glovework out front. Had a short arm action on his throws. In the 60-yard dash, he recorded a time of 7.77.
