Strong, athletic body type and 5’8’’, 160 pound frame. Hits from a balanced, square stance at the plate. Small leg kick load and short, slightly uphill swing path. Stays behind the ball well showing quick hands and fast bat speed through the zone. Strong lower half involvement and nice extension through contact. Strong finish and maintains good balance throughout. Recorded an 81 mph exit velocity. Showed a more pull-side approach during BP with some power present. Rangy and is light on his feet moving well in the infield. Fields the ball out in front and works through it well gaining ground on throws to first. Clean exchange on double play feed from short. Throws with short arm action from a three-quarters slot at 73 mph across the diamond. Ran a 7.52 60-yard time.
MD Preseason All State
Compact frame at 5-foot-7, 160-pounds. Hits from the right side with an open stance. Uses a small toe tap stride and lands square to pitcher. Hands make a small load and then are short to the ball with a flat path and line drive tendency. Showed solid extension through the ball at times posting an exit velocity of 78 mph. Feet were active early and settled pre-catch in the infield. Solid glove presentation out front, and funnels ball to center with a clean exchange. Throws with short arm action from a high three-quarter slot at 67 mph across the field. Home-to-first time was 4.44.
