John Christian Ming: Parklane Academy High School, Class of 2021; 6-foot-1, 195-pound athletic frame; OF/SS. At the plate, the right-handed hitter's 93 mph exit velocity showed his ability to drive the ball with power. Began in athletic stance with a quick load, then used a short stride to start his swing. Had quick bat speed and a level swing plane, and he ended his swing with a high finish. In the outfield, his throws to the bases were maxed out at 78 mph. Showed athletic movements laterally. Showing consistent accuracy to the bases, he had an-over-the-top slot with a long arm action. During the event, he clocked a 60 time of 7.4. On the mound, he sat with his fastball at 71-74 mph. He consistenly threw his curveball 59-60 mph with movement. His knuckleball shows movement at 61-61 mph.
