Nabholz has a tremendous upside with a very projectable power pitcher's body. The 6-foot-6, 230-pound right handed pitcher tops out at 88 mph with excellent control of his curve ball.
5/12/15 The Penn State recruit worked to just six batters in relief, showcasing a heavy fastball out of a high 3/4 arm slot that sat 87-88 and touched 89 mph. The 6-foot-6, 230-pound righty has major league bloodlines (Chris Nabholz is a cousin) and his 76 mph curveball has the potential to be a quality second offering. While time pitching in the college ranks would likely permit him the opportunity to add additional velo and refine his complimentary pitches, it would not be surprising if his name is called in June based on his physical projectability.
