5/16/18 - Athletic and fleet-footed left-fielder for the Blue Devils. Made all the plays defensively with plus range and a left-fielders arm. Selective hitter with a compact swing. Good load and weight transfer. Average bat speed and gets to where he needs to be with his swing, just doesn’t extend through the ball which affects his power production. Plus-plus runner, ran 4.01 from the right side to first base on a groundout. Having another solid college season after earning Cape Cod League All-Star game MVP honors last July and a summer slash of .338/.443/.481. Likely to be selected in the middle of Day 2.
4.18.18 - 6-1/195, R/L, Junior. Stocky, strong lower half. Above average runner. Below average arm. Shows a feel for the barrel, but cuts himself off and doesn't clear the back side at times . Was 2-for-5 with a double and a home run. There is present strength and tools and has a track record of hitting in the ACC. The crouched stance may make it difficult to hit high-end velocity as the backside can get blocked off, but there is above average athleticism and shows bat-to-ball skills.
