2027 Top-10 Uncommitted: Outfielders

With the fall and summer circuits behind us and the 2027 State Rankings being released at the end of the summer, we’re taking a look at some of the top uncommitted players within this update. Today, we are taking a look at the top-10 uncommitted outfielders. This list is full of impact bats and defenders that are still looking for a home.

Ira Hilbelink OF / SS / Cedar Grove-Belgium, WI / 2027From 7/31/25: "Future Games 2025: OF/RHP Ira Hilbelink (Cedar Grove-Belgium) put on about as strong of an all-round performance as you are going to see from anyone throughout the week. Currently ranked No. 5 in the 2027 class, Hilbelink stands in at a strong and athletic 5-foot-11, 195-pounds. The two-way talent produced a 7.03 60-time and showed off the arm with a 93 mph OF velo. At the plate, Hilbelink put together one of the most impressive rounds amongst all of the Future Game attendees. Hilbelink had a max EV of 103.3 mph, but his 99.4 average EV put him fifth among all Future Games throughout the week. He has quick hands through the zone that produces consistent hard contact with a simple approach at the plate and no wasted movement. Hilbelink had two multi-hit games throughout gameplay, going 4-for-9 with a double, home run, and two RBIs across his three games played at the plate. On the mound, Hilbelink worked a fastball/slider combo. His fastball stayed in the 86-88 mph range, topping out at 89.7 mph. His slider is a quality offering, staying in the low-70s and was up to 2,496 rpms." |

Kingston Grisolono OF / LHP / Kewaskum, WI / 2027Rankings StateRank: 14 / POS: 3
From 7/31/25: "Future Games 2025: OF Kingston Grisolono (Kewaskum) is an exciting bat that could lead to power potential in the future. Standing in at 6-foot, 190-pounds, Grisolono has a quiet patient approach with plenty of bat speed being produced during the swing. His max exit velocity of 100.2 mph during the showcase portion of the event was the third-highest among Wisconsin bats at the event. In addition to his upside at the plate, the Kewaskum product registered a 7.01 60-yard dash and a 89 mph OF velocity to round out an intriguing profile. Currently ranked No. 17 in the 2027 class, Grisolono picked up a pair of doubles throughout the weekend to cap off his Future Games performance." |

Carter Fry OF / Wisconsin Lutheran, WI / 2027Rankings StateRank: 21 / POS: 4
From 7/31/25: "Future Games 2025: OF Carter Fry (Wisconsin-Lutheran) had his athleticism and tools on full display throughout the week. Fry put up a 6.44 60-time during the showcase portion of the Future Games, which was the fastest time among those on Team Wisconsin. The rising-junior steps into the box with a tall setup and really utilizes his lower half throughout the swing as well as producing quality bat-speed. He put up a 98.4 mph max exit velocity throughout his round of BP. Fry had a strong showing throughout his three games played, going 3-for-9 on the weekend. His performance on Saturday saw him go 2-for-3 with a double and a home run and two RBIs, which lead to him winning MVP honors in the 10-6 win against Illinois." |

Wes DuCharme OF / RHP / Waunakee, WI / 2027Rankings StateRank: 31 / POS: 5
From 5/22/25: "Uncommitted, DuCharme continues to impress for the Warriors. The leadoff hitter went 7-for-14 with two walks, a double, three RBIs, and three stolen bases. The sophomore also started on the mound against DeForest, getting the win. In 6.2 innings of work, DuCharme allowed three earned runs on five hits, three walks, and struck out three." |

Zachary Steichen OF / 1B / Brookfield East, WI / 2027Rankings StateRank: 36 / POS: 7
From 3/12/25: "OF Zachary Steichen (Brookfield East, 2027) measured at a compact and powerful 5-foot-11, 195 pounds with a very strong lower half. Steichen has an extremely explosive swing and was producing loud contact throughout his round at 98 mph max exit velocity. His line drive stroke shows all kinds of feel for the barrel and can drive the ball to all fields. He was 88 mph from the outfield and showed impressive carry through the target due to his ability to backspin the baseball through the target consistently. This top ranked 2027 and continues to open eyes with his ability on both sides of the ball." |

Colton Topp OF / OF / Arrowhead, WI / 2027Rankings StateRank: 42 / POS: 8
From 7/31/25: "Colton Topp, OF (Arrowhead): Standing in at 6-foot, 166-pounds and hitting from the left side of the plate, Topp maxed out at 95.0 mph and averaged an 88.0 mph exit velocity. Topp steps in with a tall, open set-up with an easy and repeatable swing with strength, working slightly uphill through the zone with barrel awareness that transfers into game. Defensively the outfielder takes natural and efficient routes to the baseball and looks like a capable defender at each spot in the outfield." |

Camden Glusick OF / SS / Sun Prairie East, WI / 2027Rankings StateRank: 43 / POS: 9
From 7/31/25: "Camden Glusick, OF (Sun Prairie East): Athletic right-handed hitter that has shown consistent feel to hit infront of our staff. Standing at 6-foot, 166-pounds with room to add to the frame, the right-handed hitter took a quality round of batting practice showing repeated feel to find the barrel and drive the baseball on a line throughout the entire field. Collected three hits during gameplay including a triple showing feel to hit no matter the pitch type and location, the bat to ball skills standout and are advacned for the 2027 outfielder." |

Cooper Haas OF / RHP / Brookfield East, WI / 2027Rankings StateRank: 55 / POS: 10
From 2/26/25: "OF/RHP Cooper Haas (Brookfield East, 2027) quite possibly took the biggest stride forward of anyone at the event with his performance on Sunday. Haas came in and added considerable size and strength to his frame. He measured at 6-foot, 173 pounds and there is more strength and fill coming to his athletic frame. He started his day by running an impressive 6.83 seconds 60 yard dash which is a considerable improvement from last year (7.51 seconds in 2024). The junior two-way prospect then took a loud round of batting practice which produced a max exit velocity of 94 mph from a repeatable and compact hand path. From the outfield, Haas pulled down 88 mph which was near a top mark for the event. On the mound, Haas featured a 3 pitch mix with a fastball up to 82 mph, a sharp 12/6 top to bottom curveball and feel for a change up that he keeps low in the zone. Haas definitely put himself on the map and has made himself a name to know in the state." |

From 7/31/25: "Hayden Konczal, OF (Nicolet): Standing in at a strong 5-foot-11, 175-pounds, Konczal steps into the box with a slightly open setup that produced some loud contact throughout the round. He has a small leg lift and gets a wide base to swing, possessing quality bat speed and with an intent to lift the baseball with a slightly uphill path and topped out at a 96 mph during his round of BP." |
