Once again showed why he's considered one of the top run tools in the state with a blazing 6.59 60-yard dash. Considering how he covers ground and that athleticism translates to ball skills would give him a shot to stick in center at the next level. Offensively, skill set is ideal for top of the lineup with some sneaky juice. Compact stroke, upper60mph batspeed that consistently generated line drive flight ot the middle of the field. Topped at 94mph off the bat.

2/9/20 Position Player Hit: Athleticism is obvious in the box. Smooth mover with a level path. Showed solid bat to ball skills. Solid round. Power: More to come. Present line drive stroke with flashes of gap abilities. Offensive Projection: Top of the lineup. Field: Smooth actions with quality ball skills. Solid showing. Throw: Clean arm that should easily support added strength with maturity. Defensive Projection: With speed/arm combination he could play multiple spots and is a legit contender to stay in CF.
2/16/19

Swing Mechanics: Hits from a balanced, slightly open stance prior to striding. Showed off some quick hands in his swing followed by an uphill bat path.

Offensive Projection: Multiple Roles. Run: 4.37 H-1st. Field: Fields it very well in the outfield and comes through it with some force leading up to his throws. Glove plays nicely out there. At shortstop his has smooth actions with excellent glovework. Hands made it look easy followed by a quick release.
Throw: 78 from the outfield. 76 across the diamond. Defensive Projection: TBD. Additional Comments: Pure athleticism from this player. Can play both the outfield and infield very well. Shows natural ability to move around the field and swing it in the box. Plenty of time left to grow, fill out more and strengthen his body. Big follow in the coming years.
8/1/18 The lead off guy for Team Ohio, CJ Richard flies around the field on both sides of the ball. Top run tool guy on the team. True CF/lead off type. Sneaky pop for frame as well. Drove a ball over the CF’s head that quickly turned into an inside the park home run. A good athlete with impressive abilities on both sides of the ball.
