Pettijohn had the loudest round of the event and recorded an event best max exit velocity of 89.2 mph and also registered the best average exit velocity of the day at 82.7 mph. He also hit a ball 325 feet which was 27 feet further than the next closest participant. In the infield, Pettijohn showcased soft hands and threw the ball 75 mph across the infield which was the second best velocity of the day.
