Colorado Class of 2020 Rankings Updated
March 5, 2020
The PBR Colorado 2020 Player Rankings have been updated. 97 players in this class have committed to play at the collegiate level, with more still to come. This group includes players from Colorado’s 5A, 4A, 3A, and the 2A Classifications in our state.
Over the last 4 months PBR Colorado has used many resources available to update and add to this list. When PBR says “Boots on the Ground” coverage of our local players, we in Colorado know that means Snow Boots. As we all look forward to our March 12 start date and hope for a great Spring, let’s take a look at our Top 100 2020 Colorado Rankings
1B Jack Moss (Cherry Creek HS) comes in as the No. 1 prospect in the updated rankings. Moss, the Arizona State commit has not slowed down his development and improvements. The MVP of the 2019 Area Code Games continues with his Classic LHH Swing. His ability to hit for AVG and Power and his Gap to Gap approach make him one of Colorado’s top draft prospects. His dedicated approach to improving all parts of his game is impressive.
RHP Case Williams (Douglas County) is our No. 2. Committed to Santa Clara. 6-foot-2, 225-pound RHP/1B. Case throws from an over-the-top arm angle, + arm speed. His attacking approach demonstrates confidence and competitiveness. Fastball shows arm side run and has been up to 93. At the Area Codes Williams fastball was 90-93 with a sharp breaking curveball at 76-77.
Ethan O’Donnell (Regis Jesuit) makes a jump in our rankings to No. 3. The 6’2” 190 LHH OF from Regis continues to develop. Another top ten player for the Raiders, O'Donnell ran a 6.85 laser timed 60 at the Preseason All-State while also showing 94 mph exit velocity, and an 88 mph arm from the OF. Last spring O'Donnell hit .388 while also scoring 34 runs from the 2-hole helping Regis Jesuit win the 5A state championship.
Colby Shade, Oregon Commit, is at No.4 in our rankings. The 6.4 60 runner looks to elevate Ft. Collins High. No.5 in our updated rankings goes to another Regis Jesuit player, Jacob Thompsen, the Long Beach commit will help Regis in their pursuit of Back to Back State Titles.
