Alex Barr, LHP, Kankakee Valley HS, 2025 Indiana commit
Broad shouldered, high-waisted 6’1/205lb LHP. Barr was ready to compete in his 3 inning outing against Hebron. A presence on the mound that is backed up with a dominant mentality. Over the top, loose arm action provides good spin that plays well up in the zone with the FB for a put away pitch. Overall efficient mover down the mound, not many wasted movements throughout his delivery. Fastball started out 84-85 and was still adding ticks each inning topping out at 88 in the third. Flashed the CB a couple handfuls of times ranging from 64-67, 12/6 movement, has the ability to comfortably spin it. I expect to see more velocity next time I see Alex. 3 IP/ 1H/ 1ER/ 2BB/ 6K’s

Mason Braun, 1B/OF, New Prairie HS, 2025 Virginia Tech recruit
I was super impressed with Braun’s at-bats in this look. Tons of strength in the compact, 6-foot, 185 pound frame. Offensively, the Virginia Tech recruit sets up in a wide, grounded stance and creates a ton of bat speed by using the ground. Braun uses a simple stride and times the upper body load well with the forward move to create separation and allows for adjustability. The path is exceptionally advanced with loads of power potential. Braun has very good feet around the bag at 1B with quality hands, though the frame fits more of the mold of a future power-hitting corner outfielder. Average runner underway, above-average foot quickness.

Cameron Tilly, RHP, Castle HS, 2023 Auburn University recruit
An athletic, 6-foot-3, 200 pounder - Tilly struck out 10 in his 5 innings of work in this look. A polished right-hander, Tilly controls the pace of the game with a calm demeanor and a repeatable delivery. The arm is uninterrupted and works from a high ¾ slot with plenty of quickness, producing a fastball that sat 92-94 T 95 mph with ride and held velo well into the outing. The separator for Tilly is his 79-82 mph slider, a plus pitch currently with sharp, two-plane break that could play at a high level right now. Tilly flashed a diving, 84-86 mph splitter but the command for that pitch was a bit sporadic in this look.
