Jack Jones, 1B/OF, Shawnee Mission East (KS), 2024
Tennessee signee. As strong and physical as they come at 6-foot-3, 215-pounds, Jones is one of the top power threats in the region. With a quick, rotational swing, Jones generates easy elevation and power from the left side of the plate, reaching average exit velocities upwards of 95 mph, peaking at 100 mph. Also, a 6.87 runner, Jones can track down fly balls in the outfield as well as handle the glove at first base. The No. 5 prospect in the Kansas’ 2024 class is beginning to generate some professional buzz thanks to a strong start to the spring.

Michael Winter, RHP, Shawnee Mission East (KS), 2025
A standout uncommitted arm from the MOKAN Preseason All-State event, Michael Winter carried that momentum over the spring season in his first start of the year for Shawnee Mission East. At 6-foot-5, 207-pounds, Winter uses a simple, repeatable delivery to generate easy velocity, throwing his fastball at 85-87 mph. Despite the cold temperatures, he was also able to command a slider for strikes in the mid-70s and keep Park Hill hitters off balance all day.
