Sitting at No. 9 is nationally-ranked SS/RHP Nazzan Zanetello.
Zanetello hails from Christian Brothers College HS and is ranked No. 269 nationally in the 2023 class. He's No. 6 in the Missouri 2023 class and the second-ranked SS.
He' has displayed his talents as a position player and as a pitcher in 2020. At the Missouri Underclass Games in the summer, Zanetello ran a 6.65 60-yard dash, posted a 91 exit velocity and chucked it 84 mph across the diamond.
Our most recent look at Zanetello on the mound came at the Underclass Fall World Series at LakePoint in Georgia. He topped at 80 mph with action on his 67-69 mph CB.

Nazzan Zanetello: SS/RHP, (2023) Christian Brothers College, MO. 6-foot-1, 167-pound physical frame. Exciting prospect. At the plate, Zanetello's 90 mph exit velocity showed his ability to drive the ball with power. Begins in an athletic stance with a smooth load, then uses a controlled stride. Bat speed was explosive, had flat swing plane and high finish. Found lots of barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Athletic in the infield, displayed a velocity of 84 mph; has a clean exchange, soft hands and smooth feet. Showed an-over-the-top slot and a short arm action. Showed his athleticism during the event with a sub-seven 60 time of 6.65. Projectable on the mound, had good arm speed with an over-the-top arm angle. Feel type pitcher who uses some effort. Has consistent balance point and even shoulders. Lands square with an athletic finish. Threw his fastball 79-81 mph; commanded the zone with his fastball. Showed some action on his curveball (65-66).
Zanetello is an athletic 6-foot-1 162-pound right-handed hitting third baseman and right-handed pitcher in Missouri’s 2023 class. He ran a 4.31 home to first and has a 91 mph exit velocity. At the plate, starts in square position in base, loaded in back side, some hand load, with soft stride, quick hands with fast bat whip, stays inside ball, gap to gap line drives, pull power.
