Wilmington Fall ID – Event Rewind

The Wilmington Fall ID took place on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at UNC Wilmington’s Brooks Field, home of the Seahawks. The event brought together a talented group of players from across the region for a comprehensive day of evaluation in front of Prep Baseball’s scouting staff.

Players participated in a pro-style workout that included multiple rounds of batting practice, a defensive workout, and bullpens for pitchers. TrackMan technology was used throughout the day to capture ball flight data during both BP and bullpens, while BLAST Motion provided detailed pre-contact swing metrics for hitters.

Athletic testing, powered by VALD Performance, featured laser-timed 60-yard dashes with 10-yard and 30-yard splits, as well as jump testing that included RSI jumps and vertical measurements. In addition, players completed a series of body measurements to round out the full evaluation profile.

Dennis Andrison RHP / OF / Topsail, NC / 2029 Works from a clean, repeatable delivery and shows solid feel for his fastball at 75-77 mph with spin consistency. He adds projection with a 22.5" max vertical.

RJ Browning SS / RHP / Topsail, NC / 2027 Rankings  StateRank: 166 / POS: 28 RJ’s fastball sits 82-83 mph with natural arm-side run, complemented by a sharp 69-71 mph curveball. He pairs pitching tools with a 6.89 60-yard dash and 23.7" vertical.

Tyson Cameron C / RHP / Pro5 Academy, NC / 2028 Tyson attacks the zone with an 79-81 mph fastball that rides out of the hand, showing above-average feel. His athleticism includes a 7.45 60, 4.09 30-yard split, and 23.5" vertical.

Bryson Cockerham SS / 1B / Eugene Ashley, NC / 2029 Bryson repeats a short, clean arm action, working a 63-65 mph fastball around the zone. He has a 7.73 60 and 21.3" max vertical, showing tools to grow.

Camden Croom RHP / 1B / New Hanover, NC / 2026 Rankings  StateRank: 37 / POS: 16 UNC Wilmington commit.  Camden’s fastball jumps 87-90 mph with late arm-side action, from a repeatable delivery. He shows explosive athleticism: 7.13 60, 1.69/3.95 10/30 splits, 25.9" vertical.

Grayson Durrant C / OF / Pro5 Academy, NC / 2029 Grayson works from a short, athletic delivery with an 78-80 mph fastball that runs out of the hand. He pairs it with a 6.99 60 and 27.4" max vertical. Big potential.

Maddox Frost 2B / RHP / West Carteret High, NC / 2028 Maddox attacks the top of the zone with an 81 mph fastball and keeps arm speed through his 67-69 mph curve. Solid rhythm on the bump. He ran a 7.36 60 and shows 18.5" vertical explosiveness.

Jacob Grimm SS / RHP / East Carteret, NC / 2028 Jacob repeats an over-the-top delivery with a firm 80-82 mph fastball working downhill. He combines feel with a 6.96 60 and 26.3" vertical.

Troy Haynes 3B / RHP / Green Hope, NC / 2028 Rankings  StateRank: 50 / POS: 6 Troy’s fastball sits 80-82 mph with run and ride, paired with a 70-72 mph curve. Athleticism includes a 7.17 60 and 20.3" vertical. Big frame and easy mover. High ceiling.

Parker Jennings 1B / RHP / Topsail, NC / 2029 Parker works a 71-72 mph fastball with arm-side run from a clean delivery.

Keith Judah OF / LHP / Topsail, NC / 2029 Keith’s lefty fastball sits 72-74 mph with late run, paired with a 63-64 mph curve. He adds a 7.52 60 and 17.8" vertical. Young, he moves down the hill with some ease - As metrics grow athletically, stuff should too.

Kingston Moore 3B / RHP / New Hanover, NC / 2028 Kingston’s fastball plays 73-76 mph with feel for both sides of the plate.  Repeats the delivery. Flooded the zone.

Nicholas Parmelee RHP / OF / North Brunswick, NC / 2029 Nicholas works a 65-73 mph fastball with some run and a 63-65 mph curve.  Loose hips and good bend in the body.

Braeden Ritchie OF / RHP / Topsail, NC / 2026 Braeden’s fastball shows firm arm-side run at 81-83 mph and flashes a 69 mph rolling curve. Athleticism: 6.74 60 and 25.2" vertical. Easy mover. Has quickness.  Good rhythm and direction on the hill.

Carter Shoffner OF / LHP / Emsley A Laney, NC / 2029 Carter repeats a clean over-the-top slot with a 61-62 mph fastball and 56-57 mph curve.

Hudson Simmerman RHP / 2B / Hoggard, NC / 2029 Hudson’s fastball sits 73-74 mph with arm-side run.  Lean frame with length in the limbs.  Body will mature and he is setup to see stuff climb.

Hudson Southerland 2B / RHP / New Hanover, NC / 2026 Rankings  StateRank: 273 / POS: 10 Strike thrower with a simple delivery. Hudson throws a 78-79 mph fastball with feel and a 69 mph slider with depth. Athleticism includes a 6.89 60 and 23.4" vertical.

Dylan Stacks RHP / 3B / North Brunswick, NC / 2026 Rankings  StateRank: 54 / POS: 21 UNC Greensboro commit.  Explose stuff from a strong, athletic frame.  Dylan’s fastball sits 89-91 mph with ride through the zone, complemented by a 76-80 mph power slider. He pairs it with a 29.2" vertical.

Connor Stein 1B / RHP / Emsley A Laney, NC / 2029 Connor’s fastball plays 76-79 mph with ride, paired with a 63-66 mph downer curve. Athletic metrics: 7.44 60 and 17.8" vertical.
