Tristan Blalock
Blalock (James Clemens, 2029) continues to elevate his stock into the discussion of being one of the top right-handed pitchers in the young rising freshman class. A 6-foot-2, 180-pounder, Blalock possesses an electric arsenal, highlighted by a FB sitting 87-89 mph and touching 89.3 mph during his bullpen. The pitch showcases heavy arm-side sink with a 103 Sink+ score due to a loose, whippy 3/4 arm action. Uses a SL/CB/CH as his secondary offerings with the ability to throw all three for strikes. SL at 74-76 mph is the best of the group currently, spinning T2395 RPM and averaging -17.4 in. of HZM. Showed a 68-69 mph CB, and turns over a power 79-81 mph CH well with quality depth and arm-side action. Massive upside on the mound with some two-way ability as well.
