Hunter Elmore

Elmore (American Christian Academy, 2028) made the loudest statement on opening night of the Kickoff Classic, unloading a booming home run that set the tone for what projects to be a big sophomore campaign. Now listed at 6-foot-1, 220 pounds, Elmore has leaned out the frame while retaining the same physical strength, and it continues to show in the quality of his contact. A top-50 prospect nationally and the No. 2 overall in Alabama’s 2028 class, he’s an advanced offensive profile who consistently lived on the barrel despite seeing limited pitches to drive. The swing is physical with explosive hands, moving the barrel quickly through the zone on a natural uphill path that allows him to lift the baseball with ease. The power plays in-game and comes without effort, supported by an advanced approach and feel for impact. It’s a bat that already profiles in the middle of the order and will draw plenty of attention as the spring and summer unfold.
