Of all the position players, 2027 Jayden Kane was the winner on Scout Day, putting on a strong showing during batting practice. At 6-foot-1, 180-pounds, he carried the day's top exit velocity at 97.7 mph, an average of 88 & and average distance of 200 feet with a heavy dose of line drives. A good follow going into the Spring.
9/18/24
The 2026 outfielder showed plenty of upside at the AHP Academy Scout Day. At 6-foot-0, 175-pounds, Kane elevated to his pull-side with consistency. Present strength was evident, reaching a max exit velocity of 93 mph and a max bat speed of 74 mph. In the outfield, Kane got up 86 mph. There’s plenty to like in the AHP product, with added strength and continued development, he has the tools to become one of the top 2026s in the province.
