Nick Passios: C/OF, (2028) New Canaan High School, CT. 5-foot-5, 130-pound athletic proportional build. Solid projectable in the box, Passios had an exit velocity of 78 mph. (58.0 mph bat speed average). (18.3 mph hand speed average). Began in an athletic balanced stance with a rhythmic load, then used a quick toe tap stride. Bat speed was quick, displayed a short simple swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found some barrels with some loud contact. Line drive gap to gap approach. Behind the plate, he produced a position velocity of 63 mph during throw downs; has soft hands, a clean transfer, and smooth developing feet. recorded pop times of 2.22-2.27. Athletic wide setup with some flexibility. Showed consistent accuracy to the bag with a high ¾ slot and a loose arm action. In the 60-yard dash, he clocked a time of 7.81.
