Uncommitted. Middleton was dominant to say the least in his start against Cedartown. Working extremely fast on the mound and attacking with intent the physical, high-waisted 6-foot-1, 173-pound RHP showed off the pitchability and fill for the zone within a potent four pitch-mix. Punched out 12 across 6.0 IP and gave up 0 earned runs. Middleton showed extreme confidence in the FB/SL mix that paired well off one another to create for heavy swing-and-miss. Fastball sat 86-88 and topped at 89 with some run and ride through the zone with late-life. Slider showed tight, late-bite at 75-77. The senior also worked in a curveball at 72-74. As well as a changeup at 81-83 to LHH with tumble. Middleton really looked the part on the mound and is an uncommitted name to keep an eye on over the course of the spring.
