6-foot, 180-pound, average athletic frame. The shoulders are rounded off, limbs are long, has strength to him. A right-handed hitter, the bat is his best tool, swing is loose and works without much effort. The feet are even, slightly wider than shoulder width apart, hands are loose set just below the shoulders. The bat starts in a good tilted position. For timing uses a controlled leg kick, gets hands and weight back into a good launch position. The swing is loose, is level to up, finishes with one hand. The approach is gap to gap, with one line drive after another, was one of the better hitters in this session. The tee exit velocity was clocked at 77 mph, has more in there, once he adds some strength to the swing. The sixty-yard dash was clocked at 7.67. Defensively, had an arm clocked at 77 mph, works out of a higher slot, could get out front more and finish throws off and get downhill. The footwork was good, stepped through easy and gained ground, gave all receivers something to handle. Good looking hitter, should hit at some point.
