9/16/12 Codey comes from a baseball family and it shows. He was solid in everything he did. He threw consistent 1.97 pop times and used his good feet and quick transfer to do so. A switch hitter at the plate, Houts has good balance, approach, and a little swagger. His swing path is good. Houts showed some versatility by working in the infield as well. He has soft hands and an accurate arm to make all the throws necessary from third.
