Starts in a wide stance with a rhythmic load, then uses a controlled stride. Bat speed is quick efficient, exhibits a rotational swing plane and good extension on his finish. In his round he found lots of barrels with some loud contact. Gap to gap approach. Fluid while in the infield, recorded position velocities up to 79 mph; had in control footwork, firm hands, and a quick exchange. Fielded the ball out front with average movement laterally. Used athletic slot and a short arm action while showing consistent accuracy to the base. Projectable capable on the mound, showed good arm speed, also used a short arm action with a high ¾ arm angle. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses some effort. Has a low athletic balance point with even in line shoulders. Lands square with a clean finish. (Max spin 2028; Avg 1940).
