Lafleur is one of the better prospects in the ‘26 class. Strong feel for the stick from the right-side that manipulates the barrel well with plenty of length after contact. Registered a maximum exit velocity of 98.1mph with a peak distance of 333ft. Furthermore, he went onto defensive workouts and showed good footwork providing proper angles to the ball with glove presentation. The 5-foot-10, 165-pounder is a promising uncommitted ‘26 that college coaches need to check in on.

Some of the louder numbers throughout our Holiday Hitters sessions belonged to Lafleur, including the top exit velocity of all 2026 grads in attendance at 95.7mph. Peak distance was also among the better we saw this week, maxing out at 342ft. The swing is synced up from the right side with an efficient lower half, strong hand speed and effective bat path. It’s quiet, simple and loose with a compact setup and is a swing that we’re excited to see play in-game. Colton is an upperclassman that college programs should be taking note of in the near future and we will be following along.
