Our staff had eyes on Colangelo back at our Holiday Hitters Series in December. It is a 5-foot-8, 150-pound frame out of the Terriers’ system that showcased well on both sides of the ball. The left-handed swinging middle infielder in the ‘27 class operated efficiently in the box. Syncs up well and lived on the barrel at a good clip. Finished his two rounds with a peak exit velocity of 91 mph, a maximum distance of 340 feet, and a sweet spot % of 60. Looked the part on the turf during defensive workouts. It is a talented prospect in the ‘27 class with skillsets that will only improve with added strength in the years ahead.
