Physical: Powerful, imposing 6-foot-2, 215lb frame. 7.10 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Simple, shoulder-width stance, as the hands start pre-slotted around the head. Utilized a leg-kick stride to initiate the swing through a flat path with plenty of burst through the hitting zone. Worked into a stiff front side at impact, showcasing a T92 mph bat-exit velocity during his round (339 feet). Hunted the FB early in game action.
Defensively: The third baseman shifted the feet around the ball with choppy actions before the touch. Fielded out in front with some feel evident, exchanging to the throwing ear and ripping an 84 mph throw across the diamond from H ¾ slot.
Pitching: RHP. Started from the middle of the rubber using a deliberate arm-swing on the takeaway to create downhill action at release. Held 75-78 mph, touching 80 at his peak, adding a developing SL for strikes (69-71 mph) and a 67-69 mph splitter.
Physical: 6-foot-1, 215 pounds; Muscular, lean build. 7.33 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Even setup, with feet shoulder width apart; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Lifts hands with a moderate leg kick for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a slight lift to the ball with a two handed finish. More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 93 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with a low to the ground setup; uses prep step while showing active feet. Hands are soft with a seamless transfer. Moderate arm circle from a standard 3/4 arm slot. INF - 80 MPH.
Pitching: Uses a center rubber setup while using a side step. Belt high leg drive with a slight coil away from the plate. Has a moderate stride while landing slightly open. Long arm swing while showing some scap load; high 3/4 slot. Upright with finish. FB: Peak velo of 82 MPH, while sitting 80-82 MPH; arm side run. CB: 70-72 MPH; showed depth. CH: 73-75 MPH; fading action.
Physical: Strong, durable 6-foot-3, 205lb frame with projection in the build; 7.47 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH - Started from a wide, slightly bent stance with the hands close to the body, high at the head. Utilized a toe tap stride and late stretch back to the shoulder for launch through a flat path into the hitting zone. Moderate weight shift at times into a stiff front side allowing for a 27% line drive rate via Trackman during batting practice. Ability to hit for average was evident, finding the barrel with consistency, adding a T89 mph bat-exit velocity while working up to a 300 foot batted ball distance with current doubles/extra-base hit power at the plate.
Defensively: The primary third baseman arrived on time to the fielding window with adequate actions; moderate posture and showed the glove hand early, funneling softly to the middle of the body with an ease to the hand movements. Accurate, high ¾ slot with a medium takeaway and mid-70’ s arm across the diamond to the glove.
Physical: Physically advanced 6-foot-3, 225-pound frame with power in the movements. 7.77 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: RHH. Wide, slightly-open stance with the weight shifted slightly into a bent backside. Utilized a leg-hang stride to initiate a flat barrel path into the hitting zone getting slightly negative on occasion due to the front foot being down late. Showed developing power production with a 73.3 mph bat speed and 23.4 mph hand speed per Blast Motion, which pairs well with a 46% fly ball rate. Recorded a peak bat-exit velocity of 90 mph with room for more as he improves timing / contact points.
Defensively: Played with up tempo pace getting over the toes on the approach with a soft glove hand. Moved well to the glove hand side using an accurate 72 mph arm from multiple slots while displaying comfortability for plays on the run. Has a chance defensively and could be above-average down the line with slightly quicker lateral movements.
Pitching: RHP - Side rocker step with a moderate pace on the rubber. Slight hip coil at the top of the stack allowing for a 76-77 mph FB to cross the strike zone at a 29% rate during his pen. Dropped in a 64-67 mph CB with developing shape (-5.6 inches IVB, 7.5 inches HM) and up to 1889 RPM’s per Trackman Baseball. Demonstrated feel for an advanced 6-foot-1, 200-pound frame with some physicality. The right-handed hitter begins with a wide, even stance utilizing a slow lift and replace stride to initiate his swing. Showcased a line drive approach during batting practice with comfortability using the middle of the field. Recorded a 75 mph bat-exit velocity and ran a 7.71 60-yard dash. The first baseman featured adequate feel around the bag while playing with a low center of gravity. Soft hands played through the ball out in front allowing for accurate 67 mph arm-strength across the diamond out of a high ¾ arm-slot with a short takeaway. The right-handed pitcher sat 73-75 mph out of a repeatable high ¾ arm-slot with slight downhill action. Showed a 58-61 mph curveball that displayed slider movement across the zone. Mixed in feel for a 66-69 mph changeup with arm-side fade when he gets on top of it.
