Offensively: LHH. Deeper starting position with the feet balanced, just outside shoulder-width. Utilized a simple lift-and-replace stride to initiate his swing through a flat, adjustable path into the hitting zone. Parlayed some A/AVG barrel awareness with quick hands, evident in Game One with two hits vs. Team Illinois. Recorded a T91MPH EV and emerged as a name-to-know offensively. Cut down with a mature 2K approach.
Defensively: The primary outfielder featured quality angles to the ball and a soft funnel inward. Held momentum with an accurate 81MPH throwing arm from a H3/4 slot. Chance to handle a corner OF spot or 3B at the next level.
Physical: 5-10, 180 pounds; Proportional, Slight build. 7.31 runner in the 60.
Offensively: LHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Short take back with the hands with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a compact swing path with a two handed finish. More flyballs than line drives and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 92 MPH via Trackman. Showed A/AVG rotational acceleration with the ability to match planes.
Defensively: Starts with a low to the ground setup; uses prep step while utilizing a quick first step. Hands are out in front with a clean transfer. Moderate arm circle from a high 3/4 arm slot. INF - 83 MPH.
Physical: Longer, projectable 5-foot-8, 160lb build. 7.95 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: LHH. Slightly open, balanced stance, as the hands operated pre-set with bent elbows. Utilized a quick lift-and-replace stride to initiate a flat, fluid path into the hitting zone. Easy hip/shoulder separation with pull-side burst during BP. Found some XBH contact into the 308 foot distance range via Trackman, adding a T86 mph exit velocity (60% fly ball rate).
Defensively: The primary third baseman showed range in either direction with some forward tilt in the chest at the fielding window. Maneuvered the glove-hand inside and outside the frame with a live 81 mph arm-strength across the dirt. Will stick at the hot corner.
Physical: Compact, athletic 5-foot-7, 155lb frame. 8.10 runner in the 60-yard dash.
Offensively: LHH. Upright, slightly open stance, as the hands operated high and tall for a premium power hitting position. Utilized a stretched lift and replace stride to initiate the swing through an uphill, heavy path into the hitting zone. Going to do plenty of damage in a couple years, worked to T82 mph bat-exit velocity for distance. Mechanics of the swing play efficiently.
Defensively: The corner infielder displayed choppy footwork with length to his glove hand side. Kept the feet moving, released from a whippy slot. Accurate 76 mph arm-strength across the diamond.
Physical: 5-foot-6, 140 pounds; Lean, slender build. 8.86 runner in the 60.
Offensively: LHH. Open setup, with feet shoulder width apart; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Drops hands on the way back with an up and down stride for timing. Drifts into contact while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a slight lift to the ball with a finish around the back.
