2026 18U BEST OF THE WEST, KAMLOOPS, BC
April 29 - May 3

In conjunction with Big League Experience, Prep Baseball Canada 18U National will make its fourth appearance in Kamloops, British Columbia for the 2025 Best of the West Showcase Tournament.

SCHEDULE

TBD

This team will be comprised of players from across Canada born in 2006, 2007, 2008 & 2009, or in their true 2025, 2026, 2027, 2008 Graduating Years.

The Best of the West is one of the signature events each year on Canada's amateur baseball schedule, with West Coast programs needing to qualify in order to attend.

In 2026, the tournament will include Prep Baseball Canada, a squad made up of the best players in the country who are not rostered on a team already attending the event. Without hesitation, pro scouts and evaluators flock to Kamloops in early May to get one of their first looks at prospects in game-action.

“It’s exciting to have a number of players from the East side of Canada for pro scouts and evaluators to get a look at in meaningful game-action,” says Marty Lehn, Director of Big League Experience. “Adding high-level players from the rest of the country will add some more flavour to the tournament and give the evaluators in attendance the chance to get a look at more players from across the country.”

Prep Baseball Canada’s emphasis has always been on putting Canadian players on the field in front of pro scouts and college coaches. Having this on our schedule is another way to do that without having to leave the country.

The Prep Baseball Canada scouting staff will now begin to piece the roster together.

Make sure to tune into our social channels and website in early May as we provide unparalleled coverage from the entire tournament, as well as the Prep Baseball Canada team.

PREP BASEBALL PROFILE
Every prospect's recruiting process starts and ends with the Prep Baseball Profile and our showcases revolve around that player profile. For first time attendees, a new Prep Baseball profile will be created, hosting all of your information, videos, head shot, metrics and more, making it one of your single most important tools in the recruiting process. Repeat showcase performances will continue to update your Prep Baseball profile, creating a history of prospect progress and ensuring the most up-to-date information is easily accessible throughout the fast-paced scouting community. These profiles are also searchable by a range of data points and metrics through our advanced search engine, making it a one stop shop for recruiters and scouts.

SCOUTING REPORTS
The Prep Baseball Report is built at the hands of some of the most tenured and respected scouts in the industry. We pride ourselves on our level of prospect knowledge, most of which is gained through Prep Baseball events. Showcases are designed and engineered by state Scouting Directors with the goal of collecting as much information about a prospect as possible and relaying our findings to the public through data collection and scouting reports.

POST-TOURNAMENT CONTENT
One of the many results of a Prep Baseball Trip is getting all the information collected to the public in a timely and digestible manner. Every showcase will be featured on the Prep Baseball website and social channels through various forms of post-event content, leaderboards, video spotlights and more.

ACCOUNT DASHBOARD
In an effort to elevate the post-event experience for players who attend a Prep Baseball Trip, the Account Dashboard is now your one stop shop to view all of your post-tournament deliverables, including your Video, TrackMan data and more.
