State Games - Add Pitching (Optional)

New York State Games Session 2 (PM)

Prep Baseball Report is excited to present the New York State Games. 2025 brings a brand new look to the state games as we have moved to a single day event.  Each day will have a morning (AM) or afternoon (PM) option. This is to help player's and their familes have as many options as possible as they juggle state testing, and summer baseball schedules. Players will still go through a full pro-style workout, as well as compete in two-guaranteed games. The New York State Games will take place at The Lumberyard in Cortland, NY

All Event Info, including rosters, schedules and pitching rotations can be found HERE

TOP PLAYERS IN New York

We're inviting the top players in New York, spanning grad classes 2026-2028. Our mission is to bring the highest level talent in the state to one location. Players will participate in a showcase and then separated into teams by Prep Baseball Staff.

ONE-DAY EVENT

All position players will showcase their talents in a pro-style workout in the afternoon of the event, Tuesday, June 25th. Following the workout, players will immedietly branch off into their teams (selected by the Prep Baseball staff) and begin gameplay.  Each team will play a total of two guaranteed games. Lineups, pitching rotations and rosters will be constructed by Prep Baseball NY staff.

NOTE: All PM Sessions for Sessions 1,2 & 3 will check-in at 2 PM (Games at 5 PM & 7:30 PM)

FUTURE GAMES SELECTION PROCESS

The NY State Games will serve as the identifier for the 2025 PBR Future Games, coming July 22-26 to LakePoint Sports. The Future Games is a national event that has evolved into the largest recruiting event of the summer, with over 425 college coaches in attendance last year. The 2025 Future Games will consist of the top uncommitted 2027 prospects from around the country.

SUPER SOPHOMORE GAMES SELECTION PROCESS

The NY State Games will serve as the identifier for the 2025 East Coast Super Sophomore Games. This year it will be held in the greater Raleigh, NC area, specifically at the University of North Carolina and NC State Univeristy campuses. The 2nd Annual Super Sophomore Games, is a one of a kind event that brings the best 2028 prospects to one location. Each state up and down the east coast will bring a roster full of the top talent in their respective states to compete against eachother on August 1st - 3rd.

____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Rosters will be organized/built by specific positions to maximize playing time/exposure for each player. If you want to take advantage of this opportunity, please get your registration in as soon as possible, as roster spots will sell out quickly!

SCOUTING, TECHNOLOGY, AND DATA ANALYSIS IN ONE EVENT

Prep Baseball Player Profile prep-baseball-seal-YT-600px-jpg

+ Expand to learn more

Each prospect's recruiting process starts and ends with the Player Profile, and our showcases revolve around building up that profile, maximizing its content and reach. For first-time attendees, a new player profile will be created, hosting all of your information, videos, head shot, metrics and more, making it one of the most important tools in a prospect's recruiting process.

Repeat showcase performances will continue to update your player profile, creating a history of prospect progress and ensuring the most up-to-date information is easily accessible throughout the fast-paced scouting community. These profiles are also searchable by a range of data points and metrics through our advanced search engine, making it a one-stop shop for recruiters and scouts.

Body Composition

Players' body composition will be officially measured using state-of-the-art, medical-grade technology that will provide precise insights into height, weight, skeletal muscle mass, BMI and more. Players will step on scales using bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA), a method for measuring body composition, including muscle mass, body fat, and total body water.

Our scales will then produce several metrics giving insight into the prospect’s body composition. Height will be measured using a digital stadiometer to get precise height measurements.

Grip Strength

Hitters' grip strength will be tested using a digital hydraulic dynamometer. Grip strength is an essential component to bat strength and controlling the barrel. Hitters will be put through a max strength test on both hands, shedding light on hand strength and potential power and bat control down the road.
