2025 Seattle Summer ID Session II - Quick Hits

Dylan Grenz
Associate Scout

Earlier this week, Prep Baseball Washington hosted the Seattle Summer ID - Session II at Bannerwood Park in Bellevue, Washington.  Prep Baseball scouts evaluated high school athletes in the 2026-2029 graduating classes, with several strong showings throughout the event.

Summer ID events serve as an important tool for both Prep Baseball scouts and college recruiters, who will subsequently create lists of prospects to follow as they plan their remaining summer coverage. We often tend to see prospects' best showings at Summer ID events, as players are fresh off playing for their respective high schools and are in the routine that consistently playing in-game offers. Standout performances can lend invites to some of the summer's top events, including the 2025 Pacific Northwest State Games.

Today, Prep Baseball releases our Quick Hits, detailing scouting notes on standout players from the event. Players are listed alphabetically by last name. For all other post-event content, click here

Quick Hits

Seattle Summer ID - Session II (7.1.25)

'27 LHP/OF Frederick Abraham-Walker (Roosevelt)
The rising sophomore had a well-rounded showing, particularly on the mound. Lefty arm sat 80-83 MPH with the FB, mixing in a four-pitch mix overall. Longer, sweeping arm action with slight cross-body fire. Breaking balls both averaged north of 2250 RPM, with the FB averaging 2249 RPM as well. Peaked with a 93.7 MPH exit velocity from the right hand side of the dish, averaging 86 MPH. 80 MPH throws from the OF with natrual LH tail on throws in.

'26 OF Jerrell Alston (Waiakea, HI)
The loudest performance of the day came from Alston, who shined from start to finish in this look. The Future Games alum kicked off his event running a 6.99 60-yard dash time. Loud rounds of BP, driving towering shots well over the LF wall. Ultra-quick bat and hand speed with some loft at contact. 105.4 MPH peak exit velocity, averaging 94.4 MPH and a max batted ball distance of 421 feet. 87 MPH throws from the OF carried through the target with ride. One of the top uncommitted '26 grads seen in some time with an explosive showing.

'27 INF Luke Bishop (O'Dea)
Bishop delivered mature BP rounds to highlight his showcase. Found the barrel mostly on a line and on the ground, but did drive balls up to 362 feet. Utilizes 6'0 frame well, with a peak EV of 99.1 MPH from the left hand side. Averaged 90.3 MPH. Direct path with repeatable operation, working off a more narrow base and firm front side at contact. 7.18 second runner makes the routine play defensively as more of a corner type. Bishop had limited varsity action this spring but should see plenty of opportunity moving forward and will be a player to circle this summer.

'26 LHP/OF Lance Burt (Redmond)
Another impressive all-around performance seen Tuesday that impressed the most on the mound. The lefty arm sat 86-87 MPH with his FB, flashing a CH at 78-79 MPH and a SL at 72-73 MPH as well. Quick arm with aggressive intent out front. Developing command, but real ability to be a difference maker at the next level if it all clicks. 6'2 prospect also ran a 7.04 60-yard dash time and posted exit velocities up to 96.4 MPH. Arm strength translated to the outfield, where he posted an event-best 89 MPH OF throw.

'27 1B/RHP Henry Carpinito (Seattle Christian)
Strong, stocky 6'6 frame showed some nice strides since a winter look, particularly at the plate. Lefty was on the barrel to the RCF gap, driving balls with a 97.9 MPH peak and 88.9 MPH average exit velocity. Plus bat speed naturally generated with frame, but stays under control in BP swings. 1B-only type defensively, also threw strikes with a 3-pitch mix on the mound.

'27 INF/RHP Ben Cunningham (Seattle Prep)
Athleticism present in 6'3, 165 pound frame. Ran an impressive 6.94 60-yard dash with longer limbs moving well. Posted a 93 MPH peak exit velocity, averaging 85.4 MPH with a max batted ball distance of 348 feet. Some upside on the mound, releasing from a high 3/4 slot with steady intent through the wind. FB sat 80-82 MPH with lower spin rates and frame suggesting more velocity could come. CH/CB offspeed combination.

'26 OF Jakob Fowler (Kings)
Some raw power present in medium RH frame. Simple swing with low, quick leg lift and balance throughout with a strong two-handed finish. Heavier barrel travels through the zone with quickness, resulting in a 99.8 MPH peak and 88.8 MPH average exit velocity. 7.30 runner, likely more of a corner OF player moving forward.

'28 OF Mason Malloy (Newport)
Malloy delivered some of the most consistent barrels at the event, utilizing his 5'11 frame well. Hands stay quiet through load with balance in the lower half, accelerating through contact with a longer, whippy two-handed finish. 90.6 MPH peak and 86 MPH average exit velocity, with a max batted ball distance of 337 feet. Athletic mover in the OF with shorter, choppy steps and throws up to 83 MPH. Young player to circle.

'26 INF/RHP Isaiah McMahan (Redmond)
Projectable 6'2, 190 pound frame with room to fill. Fluid operation from the right side, featuring loose wrists and a smooth one-handed finish at the plate. Loud contact to the gaps with a peak EV of 95.8 MPH. Showed adjustability and ability to hit to all fields. Longer frame should stick on the left side of the infield, with throws up to 80 MPH across the diamond. Also ran his FB up to 80 MPH on the mound with a three-pitch mix.

'28 RHP/INF Tate Tuininga (Liberty)
A real exciting young arm, the Liberty product ran his heater up to 84.7 MPH from a loose, fluid low 3/4 slot release. FB is a high spin offering with over 2340 RPM on average, giving it life to all quadrants. CH/CB/SL all thrown as well, with SL flashing depth as strongest secondary offering. Tall, lanky 6'3 frame moves well on the mound, and could easy continue to add velocity as the frame adds strength. Up to 91 MPH exit velocities at the plate as well.

'27 OF/RHP Daniel Weintraub (Overlake/Bear Creek)
Two-way athlete impressed in a spring look, and started his event this week with a great 60 time of 6.78 seconds. 5'10 player's athleticism translates defensively and could easily stick at any of the three OF spots. Throws up to 81 MPH from the OF as well. Developing skillset at the plate, working from a narrow base in the setup and a firm front side at contact. Ran the FB up to 82.9 MPH on the mound, generating some sink on both his FB/CH.

'27 OF Cole Williamson (West Seattle)
The outfielder broke out in multiple looks this spring for the Wildcats and put together a solid first Prep Baseball showcase look. Powerful levers in 6'3 frame result in real ability to impact the ball at the plate when on time. Sprayed the ball to all fields, with most of the power coming from driving the ball to the middle of the field. 96.8 MPH peak exit velocity. 7.28 runner is likely best suited for a corner OF spot, but covers ground with a plus arm, featuring throws up to 86 MPH in this look. Impressive performer.
