Scouting Intern

Description:
A Prep Baseball Report area scout will assist in covering amateur baseball in the state of Oregon and any surrounding areas of needed coverage. Areas scouts will be responsible for high school coverage as well as Prep Baseball showcase responsibilities including, social media coverage, tech operations, event management and more.
Responsibilities:

Providing coverage of the OSAA season for social media as well as written content.

Assist in operating all Pacific Northwest Prep Baseball Showcases.

Manage player database, including scouting reports, stats, advanced metrics, video and more.
Requirements:

Passion for the game of baseball
- Willingness to write and receive feedback

Excellent organizational skills

Proficient in the social media landscape
- Willing to travel

Availibility on weeknights/weekends for game and showcase coverage
- Mandatory to attend training sessions (virtual)
Desired Qualifications:

Experience in baseball recruiting, coaching

Previous scouting experience

Social Media/Marketing Intern

Internship Description:
We are looking for a motivated individual to help with the coordination and execution of social media and email marketing campaigns. Desired candidate will work closely with current staff on a strategy for Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. The position will also design and execute email marketing campaigns using InfusionSoft software.
Responsibilities
+ Develop and implement a weekly social media marketing plan
+ Manage social media at select Prep Baseball Showcases and Tournaments
+ Design and execute various email marketing campaigns
Requirements:
+ Must be able to reside and have reliable transportation in the Pacific Northwest area throughout the duration of the internship
+ Strong writing and compositional skills
Desired Qualifications
+ Previous experience in marketing or social media
+ Experience with Adobe Photoshop and/or Canva
+ General knowledge of baseball
+ Currently working towards a degree is business, marketing, or sports management
Baseball JournalisM INTERN
We are seeking qualified journalism students. It is required that the candidates have strong writing and compositional skills, and ability to meet deadlines and a strong understanding of the game of baseball.
Start Dates: Open
Location: Washington/Oregon native, Remote OK
Primary responsibilities:
• Write feature stories to be posted on the site's web-site.
• Write press releases providing details of events to be distributed to the local media.
• Provide administrative assistance, including but not limited to data entry and web research.
• Game and events coverage, composing recap stories.
Video/TECH Intern
We are seeking qualified students in film and videography who look to further a career in digital media. Qualified candidates would be responsible for video of PBR showcase events, editing work and the creative initiative to produce promotional digital media.
