July 15, 2026
Emerson, GA - Well, it's that time of the summer again, as we're only one week away from heading east to Emerson, GA for the 2026 Prep Baseball Senior Future Games. This invite-only event is the single largest event of the calender year for uncommitted prep prospects, who are about to enter their senior year of high school, thanks to the more than 400 college coaches that show up to the Lakepoint Sports Complex at the end of every summer. This year's Team Delta, team features 16 uncommitted prospects from Louisiana combined with another 7 uncommitted prospects from Mississippi. Below, we break down the Louisiana position players that are heading to Georgia with us next week.
2026 LOUISIANA SENIOR FUTURE GAMES POSITION PLAYERS

Chase Marcotte C / RHP / Destrehan, LA / 2027Rankings StateRank: 32 / POS: 4
Marcotte enters the Senior Future Games as one of Louisiana's premier uncommitted catching prospects after a standout junior campaign, which earned him 1st-Team All-State honors. Behind the plate, he continues to separate himself with advanced receiving skills, quality blocking, an 80 mph arm, and pop times ranging from 1.95-2.12 seconds. His ability to impact the game on both sides of the ball makes him one of the more complete players on the roster.
|

Jackson Dugan SS / RHP / Jesuit, LA / 2027Rankings StateRank: 48 / POS: 9
Dugan is a fundamentally sound infielder whose polished offensive approach continues to stand out every time we see him. The right-handed hitter gets the barrel into the hitting zone early, stays on plane through contact, and consistently uses the entire field. Dugan's steady defensive play, competitive makeup, and feel for the game should make him a valuable piece for Team Louisiana.

Landyn Craft 2B / 3B / St. Thomas More, LA / 2027Rankings StateRank: 41 / POS: 1
Craft is one of the more physical position players on this year's Senior Future Games roster, bringing present strength and impact from the right side of the plate. The 5-foot-11, 208-pound infielder generates impressive bat speed and has already produced exit velocities up to 98 mph, giving him legitimate extra-base hit potential. Despite his sturdy build, Craft is an above-average runner, turning in a 6.67-second 60-yard dash at the 2025 Louisiana State Games. His combination of strength, athleticism, and offensive upside makes him an intriguing uncommitted prospect.
|

Shepherd Gammon 3B / OF / LSU Laboratory, LA / 2027Rankings StateRank: 24 / POS: 3
Gammon possesses one of the highest athletic ceilings on this roster thanks to an exciting blend of speed and power. The wiry 6-foot-2 outfielder posted an Upperclass Top Prospect Games event-best 6.51-second 60-yard dash while also leading the event with a blistering 104.4 mph exit velocity and averaging 97.6 mph off the bat during batting practice. With plenty of room remaining to add strength, the uncommitted senior continues to see his stock rise as his tools translate into game performance. He's an explosive athlete capable of impacting the game in multiple ways.
|

John Parker Moak OF / LHP / Ruston, LA / 2027Rankings StateRank: 28 / POS: 5
Moak brings a polished offensive approach built around a simple setup and efficient swing that allows him to consistently drive the baseball to all fields. He's got tools to work with too with a 6.63-second 60-yard dash and 89 mph arm strength from the outfield. The athletic uncommitted outfielder combines speed, defensive ability, and feel to hit into a well-rounded package. He's a player who continues to trend upward heading into his senior season.
|

Evan Pearce 1B / OF / Rosepine, LA / 2027Rankings StateRank: 60 / POS: 4
Pearce is coming off a breakout junior season in which he hit .455 with two home runs and 52 RBIs for Rosepine. The 6-foot-2 outfielder showed his offensive upside at the plate at our Lake Charles Summer ID by consistently driving baseballs into the pull-side gap and producing exit velocities up to 100.2 mph. He's also made noticeable strides athletically, lowering his 60-yard dash time to 6.84 seconds. Pearce's blend of size, strength, and improving athleticism makes him another intriguing uncommitted bat on Team Louisiana.
|

Gregory Ruiz III SS / OF / Holy Cross, LA / 2027Rankings StateRank: 55 / POS: 12
Ruiz is an athletic middle infielder whose game is built around speed, instincts, and high-energy play. He consistently puts together competitive at-bats, stays through the middle of the field, and pressures defenses once he reaches base. The Holy Cross product's versatility and aggressive style should provide valuable depth and energy throughout the week.
|

Landen Teague SS / 3B / Hahnville, LA / 2027Rankings StateRank: 31 / POS: 4
A standout multi-sport athlete and quarterback at Hahnville, Teague brings plenty of athleticism to Louisiana's Senior Future Games roster. Defensively, he shows solid infield actions, reliable hands, and an accurate arm that allow him to handle the left side of the diamond with confidence. At the plate, the right-handed hitter has flashed emerging power by producing exit velocities up to 98.6 mph with quality pull-side carry. As his baseball reps continue to increase, Teague has all the ingredients to keep making significant strides as an uncommitted prospect.
