Arizona Summer ID Circuit: Quick Hits
The 2026 Prep Baseball Arizona Summer ID circuit brought together talented prospects from every corner of the state, giving our staff an in depth look at players across the 2027 through 2031 classes. Throughout the summer, players participated in a complete pro style workout that featured TrackMan, Blast Motion swing analytics, VALD athletic testing, Vizual Edge assessments, defensive evaluations, batting practice, and bullpen sessions.
With multiple events now complete, our staff has compiled some of the top performers and most intriguing follow prospects from the summer. Below, you'll find standout players organized by graduating class and position group, highlighting those who made the strongest impressions throughout the Arizona Summer ID circuit.
2027 Class
Position Players
Jaxon Perrilliat
Perrilliat turned in one of the loudest offensive showings of the summer. The physical right handed hitter showed natural power with the ability to drive the baseball to both gaps, producing towering contact throughout his round. The 6 foot 1, 199 pound corner profile has impact strength now with athleticism that shows up in the run tool as well.
Colin Murphy
Murphy was one of the more complete offensive performers in attendance. The 6 foot 2, 190 pound right handed hitter showed a strong frame, present bat to ball skills and the ability to drive line drives to all fields. He also showed accurate throws with carry from the outfield, giving him a well rounded profile to follow.
Anthony Renda
Renda showed one of the stronger left handed offensive profiles from the summer. The swing creates natural loft through the middle of the field and the ball came off the barrel with easy carry. He also showed arm strength from both first base and the outfield, giving the bat multiple defensive paths.
Adrian Villela
Villela continues to make steady jumps and produced one of the better all around workouts from the 2027 group. The right handed hitter consistently squared the baseball to all fields with a repeatable uphill path. He also showed improved arm strength from the outfield and athletic defensive actions that profile well moving forward.
Henry Knight
Knight put together one of the cleaner middle infield workouts of the summer. The left handed hitter has a short, quick swing with a clean path through the zone and the ability to stay through the baseball to the opposite field. Defensively, he showed fluid actions, quick release ability and the arm strength to remain on the left side of the infield.
Max Monsen
Monsen showed loud right handed impact from a strong 6 foot 1, 205 pound frame. The swing works best on pitches middle in, where he can use his pull side strength and direct path to impact the baseball. He also showed enough arm strength for the corner infield with a profile that fits well at third base or first base.
Graham Snyder
Snyder brought one of the top run tools in the 2027 class to the summer circuit. The left handed hitter showed twitch, athleticism and the ability to drive balls into the left center gap. As the swing continues to become more consistent, the athletic profile gives him real upside.
Boeden Forquer
Forquer is a physical corner bat with present feel for the barrel. The 6 foot 3, 196 pound right handed hitter showed consistent bat to ball skills and the ability to drive the baseball through the middle of the field. He also moved well around first base for his size, showing quality footwork and control around the bag.
Jackson Stewart
Stewart showed a steady and reliable overall profile. The right handed hitter has present bat to ball skills with a swing geared to the middle of the field, consistently finding the barrel throughout his round. Defensively, he showed reliable hands and the ability to handle multiple spots on the dirt.
Pitchers and Two Way Players
Chase Barker
Barker showed one of the more projectable right handed arms in the 2027 class. The 6 foot 3, 190 pound frame works downhill with repeatable direction, and the fastball reached 85 mph. His breaking ball showed sharp top to bottom depth with spin north of 2,600 rpm, giving him a strong secondary piece to build around.
Koen Taylor
Taylor showed one of the better athletic profiles in the class. On the mound, he worked with a repeatable delivery and filled the zone with an 82 to 83 mph fastball while mixing a curveball and changeup. The athleticism also showed in the outfield, where he ran well and produced an 89 mph outfield velocity.
Noah Rodriguez
Rodriguez showed a well rounded two way skill set. The right hander worked up to 83 mph with a whippy high 3/4 arm action, while the offensive profile showed present strength and a 99 mph exit velocity. He also showed the arm strength and body control to continue developing on the infield.
Cale Baker
Baker showed present athleticism and arm speed on both sides of the baseball. The right hander worked up to 82 mph with feel for two breaking balls, including a slider that spun near 2,700 rpm. He also showed quickness through the zone offensively and quality timing with the feet at third base.
Brody Burton
Burton showed a controlled, repeatable delivery with quality direction and efficient lower half usage. The fastball worked 81 to 83 mph with arm side life and above average carry. His slider showed short depth and gives him a developing secondary pitch to continue building around.
2028 Class
Pitchers
Oliver Higgins
Higgins was one of the biggest winners of the summer circuit. The left hander showed a smooth, balanced delivery with a loose 3/4 arm action and present whip. The fastball reached 86 mph, while the slider showed late bite and high spin, giving him one of the better left handed arsenals in attendance.
Taydan Spalti
Spalti showed one of the better right handed fastballs from the 2028 group. The delivery is controlled and repeatable with efficient direction, and the arm works quickly from a 3/4 slot. The fastball showed quality arm side life while the slider flashed present feel to land for strikes.
Ricky Faulkner
Faulkner showed intriguing two way value with present strength and arm speed. On the mound, the fastball worked into the mid 80s with developing carry and arm side run. Offensively, he showed natural power to all fields with a strong frame and present bat speed.
Xavier Silvas
Silvas showed value on both sides as a left handed two way prospect. On the mound, he worked up to 80 mph with a full four pitch mix and developing feel. At the plate, the left handed hitter produced a 95 mph exit velocity and showed present strength through the middle of the field.
Sebastian Castelo
Castelo showed a physical two way profile with present strength in the frame. The right hander worked with an easy 3/4 arm action and consistent direction down the mound. Offensively, he showed solid impact to the middle of the field with a 94 mph exit velocity.
Outfielders
Jaxon Clubb
Clubb put together one of the loudest overall workouts of the summer. The 6 foot 2, 179 pound right handed hitter showed quickness through the zone and present impact, producing a 104 mph exit velocity. He also ran a 6.56 sixty and threw 89 mph from the outfield, giving him a high end athletic tool set.
Kingston Sinner
Sinner continues to establish himself as one of the premier 2028 bats in Arizona. The right handed hitter showed present power, gap to gap impact and an athletic operation that stayed under control. The arm strength also stood out, reaching 93 mph from the outfield with accurate throws and carry.
Aayden Castro
Castro showed a strong mix of athleticism, defensive versatility and offensive production. The right handed hitter consistently drove the middle of the field and showed present feel for the barrel. He also moved well in both the outfield and infield, giving him multiple paths defensively.
Braden Kemp
Kemp showed a strong athletic foundation with present pull side power. The right handed hitter produced a 94 mph exit velocity and ran a 6.87 sixty, giving him a strong blend of strength and speed. Defensively, he showed effort and comfort around first base with the arm strength to handle the outfield.
Max King
King showed one of the more controlled left handed swings in the group. He used the whole field with present barrel feel and a repeatable swing path. Defensively, he showed comfortable outfield actions with accurate throws and present carry.
Titan Jacobs
Jacobs stood out for his athletic defensive actions in the outfield. He worked through the baseball well, gained ground through the crow hop and showed an accurate 85 mph arm. The right handed swing showed pull side feel with room to continue developing impact.
Infielders and Catchers
Jacob Black
Black showed one of the loudest offensive profiles of the summer. The right handed hitter displayed power and twitch to the pull side while staying adjustable enough to cover multiple areas of the strike zone. He also showed sub 2.01 pop times and athletic actions at first base.
Javier Alvarez Jr
Alvarez was one of the top infield defenders in attendance. He showed fluid actions, confident footwork and the ability to vary arm slots while maintaining accuracy. Offensively, the right handed hitter produced consistent hard contact through the middle of the field and showed a 99 mph exit velocity.
Matthew Rooney
Rooney showed intriguing offensive versatility as a switch hitter. From the left side, he showed a short compact move, while the right handed swing created more natural loft and backspin. The overall offensive profile stood out with a 95 mph exit velocity and quality average exit velocity.
Noah Tameron
Tameron showed the ability to generate impressive power for his frame. The right handed hitter drove balls hard up the middle and to the opposite field with a quality path through the zone. Defensively, he showed the ability to throw from multiple slots with arm strength from both the infield and outfield.
John Nyman
Nyman showed one of the better pure hitting rounds from the Tucson group. The right handed hitter displayed bat to ball skills, the ability to use all fields and a flat to slightly uphill path through the middle of the field. Defensively, he looked comfortable on the dirt with accurate throws across the diamond.
Luke Johnson
Johnson showed a projectable 6 foot 1 frame with two way upside. The right handed swing flashed quick hands and present lower half usage, producing a 94 mph exit velocity. Defensively, he showed reliable glove actions with controlled footwork and room to continue adding arm strength.v
Vasser Harmon
Harmon showed a clean left handed swing with strong sequencing. The hands worked consistently into the same slot and the lower half helped produce hard contact through the middle of the field. The 6 foot 1 frame gives him room to continue adding strength.
2029 Class
Position Players
Seth Young
Young put together one of the loudest workouts from any freshman in attendance. The left handed hitter showed a short and quick path to the baseball with the ability to drive balls the other way and consistently stay through the middle of the field. He paired the bat with an 89 mph outfield arm and a 6.78 sixty, making him a high follow in the class.
Cooper Briscoe
Briscoe showed advanced arm strength for the 2029 class. The right hander ran the fastball up to 85 mph with developing sink and strike throwing ability. Offensively, he showed present strength with a 93 mph exit velocity and a line drive oriented approach.
Finn Burns
Burns showed a twitchy and athletic profile with tools on both sides of the baseball. The delivery was fluid on the mound and the fastball reached 82 mph with developing sink. In the outfield, he moved well and showed an 88 mph arm, while the right handed swing flashed pull side juice when synced up.
Ethan Butterfield
Butterfield showed one of the better young middle infield profiles in the summer circuit. The left handed hitter drove line drives to all fields with present bat to ball skills and room to continue adding strength. He also ran a 6.84 sixty and showed accurate throws across the diamond.
Ryder Shay
Shay showed a strong foundation as a young left handed hitting infielder. The swing works from a tall setup with a controlled hover and a slight uphill path geared toward the middle of the field. Defensively, he showed reliable glove actions, clean transfers and an athletic first step.
Brody Ebert
Ebert showed a well rounded two way foundation. The left handed hitter flashed bat speed and feel for the barrel, with his best contact coming when staying through the middle of the field. Defensively, he showed athletic actions at shortstop, reliable footwork and the ability to make plays on the run.
Gage Thompson
Thompson showed a solid young infield profile with soft hands and the ability to read hops well. The right handed swing showed extension through the hitting zone with developing strength. He also showed athleticism in the run game and quality feel on the dirt.
Parker Sims
Sims showed a developing middle infield profile with present understanding of the position. The right handed hitter showed some quickness through the zone with his best contact coming when staying through the middle of the field. As the body continues to add strength, there is room for the offensive profile to keep climbing.
Dylan Koch
Koch showed athletic actions on the infield with active feet and quality pre pitch rhythm. The left handed swing flashed quick hands, with the best contact coming when the path stayed flatter through the middle of the field. He has a strong defensive foundation for the class.
Anthony Zavala Barnett
Zavala Barnett showed athleticism and versatility as a young outfielder and catcher. The right handed swing has room to continue cleaning up, but he showed present bat speed and developing impact. Defensively, he moved well through the baseball and showed quick arm action from the outfield.
