2026 East Coast Super Sophomore Games: Team South Carolina Trackman Hitting Leaders

The top players in South Carolina's 2029 class took the field last week at Founders Park on the campus of the University of South Carolina for the Prep Baseball East Coast Super Sophomore Games. The event brought together many of the top prospects from across the East Coast for one of the premier summer scouting opportunities in the country.

Team South Carolina opened the event with a comprehensive pro style workout that featured athletic testing, batting practice with TrackMan ball flight data, and defensive evaluations before competing in a three game schedule against some of the strongest regional talent. Representing the Palmetto State, Team South Carolina showcased its depth, athleticism, and competitiveness throughout the weekend.

LAUNCH ANGLE PERCENTAGE

Based on the ball flight, TrackMan is able to identify each hit as a ground ball, line drive, or fly ball.  While there are many factors as to why a hitter may approach each pitch in a certain way, the overall groupings of BP can give some insight to each hitter's approach.
