2026 17U National Championship: Event Leaders + Recap

The 2026 17U Prep Baseball National Championships concluded on Monday, July 21, at LakePoint in Emerson, Ga., where a champion was crowned all the way from Montreal, Quebec. In this piece, we'll cover the tournament's top performers in conjunction with their in-event data and relevant showcase data compiled since the beginning of 2025.

Tournament Champions 🏆

17U:
Academie de Baseball Canada

Academie de Baseball Canada went 8-0-1 in Georgia to win the 17U National Championship on Monday afternoon behind an all-around effort including in a tough title game against Cangelosi Sparks North (IL) squad in which the two teams were taxed on arms, though the Montreal program ultimately clung to the lead it captured in the top of the first all game long.

Uncommitted SS Drazic Charbonneau (2027) and OF William Nolet (2027) each paced the Canadian squad with 13 hits while OF Gabriel Lehouillier (2027) tallied 12 of his own, five of which went for extra bases and three left the yard throughout the week. OF Julien Simard (2027) tied for the tournament lead with six extra-base hits in the tournament. On the mound, LHP Thomas Côté Collard (2027) was one of the tournament's most dependable arms, earning 24 whiffs and 13 Ks in his 10 innings pitching combined.
