Prep Baseball Alabama Staff

EMERSON, GA – The 2026 Prep Baseball Senior Future Games are set to take place this week at LakePoint Sports in Emerson, GA, bringing together the top uncommitted Class of 2027 prospects from across the country for multiple days of workouts and game action in front of college recruiters.

This year's event will once again provide players with an opportunity to showcase their abilities on one of the biggest stages of the summer. Alabama's contingent will join forces with prospects from Tennessee to compete as Team South throughout the event.

Team South position players will begin the week with a pro-style workout on Tuesday, July 21st, at 1:00 PM EST on Fields 13-16 and the adjacent soccer fields. Game action follows later that afternoon and continues throughout Wednesday with three games scheduled against teams from across the country.

Below, we take an in-depth look at the Alabama prospects representing Team South at the 2026 Senior Future Games, followed by the complete schedule and pitching rotation for the event.

MEET TEAM SOUTH 👋

Will Carter C / Huntsville, AL / 2027

One of the top uncommitted players in Alabama's 2027 class, Carter brings a well-rounded skill set to Team South with the ability to impact the game on both sides of the ball. The 5-foot-11, 180-pound backstop consistently finds the barrel with authority, showing gap-to-gap impact and exit velocities up to 97.3 mph. Behind the plate, he's recorded pop times of 1.98-2.09 with a strong arm, making him a quality follow this week at LakePoint.

Eli Quinley C / Faith Academy, AL / 2027

One of the top uncommitted catchers in Alabama's 2027 class, Quinley brings plenty of strength and offensive impact to the Team South lineup. The physical 5-foot-10, 195-pound backstop has a heavy barrel with premium bat speed and has produced exit velocities up to 105.2 mph. He also pairs that offensive upside with a strong arm behind the plate and quality athleticism for the position, making him an intriguing follow this week at LakePoint.

Brody Blevins SS / Westbrook Christian, AL / 2027

One of the top uncommitted two-way players in Alabama's 2027 class, Blevins brings an intriguing combination of athleticism, strength, and versatility to Team South. The 6-foot, 189-pound prospect has shown impact at the plate with exit velocities up to 99.3 mph, while also running a 6.73 60 and reaching 91 mph across the infield. He'll also provide a high-upside option on the mound, where he's worked up to 91.1 mph with a firm upper-70s/low-80s slider.

Lawson Hare 3B / Auburn, AL / 2027

Hare brings an intriguing blend of size, athleticism, and versatility to Team South with a long, projectable 6-foot-2, 197-pound frame. He has shown significant offensive impact with exit velocities up to 102.6 mph, while also running a 6.99 60 and possessing the athleticism to handle multiple positions defensively. Hare also brings notable arm strength to the table, having previously worked up to 92 mph on the mound.

Slade Bounds OF / Spain Park, AL / 2027

Bounds brings one of the more dynamic tool sets to Team South with an impressive combination of strength, speed, and offensive impact. The strongly built 5-foot-10, 190-pound prospect has routinely produced triple-digit exit velocities, reaching 102.9 mph, with a quick, compact right-handed swing and plenty of strength in the barrel. His standout tool may be his speed, as Bounds recently posted a blazing 6.37 60-yard dash, giving him multiple ways to impact the game this week at LakePoint.

Seth Hardin OF / Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa, AL / 2027

Hardin heads to LakePoint as an athletic outfielder who put together an impressive spring hitting leadoff for a talented Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa club. The 5-foot-10, 180-pound left-handed hitter has shown quality bat-to-ball skills with the ability to spray contact to all fields, while his speed and athleticism allow him to handle all three outfield spots. A versatile athlete who can also catch and pitch, Hardin's left-handed bat and ability to impact the game in multiple ways will be worth following this week.

Jordan Garcia LHP / Chelsea, AL / 2027

Garcia earned his way onto the Team South roster following a standout summer on the mound and continues to see his stock trend upward. The athletic, projectable 6-foot-1, 190-pound left-hander has worked 87-90 mph and topped at 90.5 mph with the fastball, pairing it with a sweeping mid-70s slider and an effective changeup. Garcia's ability to command all three offerings and consistently fill up the strike zone makes him an intriguing arm to follow this week at LakePoint.

Bryant Hopkins RHP / Valley, AL / 2027

Hopkins brings some of the better swing-and-miss stuff on the Team South pitching staff and is an arm to watch closely this week at LakePoint. The 6-foot-1, 195-pound right-hander works in the upper-80s and has topped at 92 mph with natural arm-side run, but his breaking ball combination serves as the separator. Hopkins can spin both a curveball and slider at high rates, with each offering showing quality depth and the ability to generate consistent empty swings.

Aiden Kantmann RHP / Bob Jones, AL / 2027

Kantmann is a low-mileage right-hander with plenty of upside still remaining and will be an intriguing arm to follow for Team South this week. He has worked 86-89 mph and topped at 89.8 mph with natural arm-side run on the fastball, while mixing in a curveball and a firmer slider that plays more like a cutter with late horizontal action. The latter has emerged as his best secondary offering, consistently missing the sweet spot of the barrel.

Ty McGinley RHP / Fairhope, AL / 2027

McGinley brings a projectable 6-foot-2, 185-pound frame and a clean operation to the Team South pitching staff. The right-hander has worked up to 90 mph with the fastball and features a full mix of secondary offerings, including a low-70s curveball, a 76-78 mph slider, and a 76-80 mph changeup.

Ryan Parent RHP / Daphne, AL / 2027

Parent has been one of the bigger risers in Alabama's 2027 class and brings one of the stronger fastballs on the Team South pitching staff. The lean, projectable 6-foot, 169-pound right-hander has worked 89-91 mph and topped at 91.9 mph with quality ride and carry through the zone. He complements the fastball with a low-to-mid-70s curveball and a 78-81 mph changeup.

Addison Senn LHP / Ariton, AL / 2027

Senn brings plenty of projection and swing-and-miss ability from the left side to the Team South pitching staff. The long-limbed, athletic southpaw has worked into the mid-80s with the fastball, but his best offering is a 75-77 mph slider that features late, hard action and spin rates north of 2800 RPM. Coming off a breakout junior season that helped lead Ariton to a 2A state title, Senn will be an intriguing arm to follow this week at LakePoint.
