EVENT HISTORY

We've been hosting this event for the past 4 years, and it has provided us a look at prominent players who've later gone on to receive invitations to select events, like the Prep Baseball Future Games and Illinois State Games. Among those in attendence of the South Suburban Summer ID event in 2025, 5 have already made commitments.

Last Years Commitments

  • Emmanuel Deoudes (IC Catholic Prep, 2026; Oakton CC)
  • Leo Macias (Glenbard North, 2026; Judson University (IL))
  • Jasper Reeves (Glenbard West, 2026; Augustana College (IL))
  • Will Renshaw (Barrington, 2026; Southeastern CC (IA))
  • Joshua Ziemer (Glenbard East, 2026; Elgin CC)

We're looking forward to checking in on the next crop of talent from this event to earn next-level attention in the coming weeks, months, and years.

2026 ROSTER

This year's roster is already shaping up nicely, just like in years past.

Malcolm Donaldson OF / OF / Lincoln-Way East, IL / 2028

From Febuary 16th: "OF Malcolm Donaldson (Lincoln Way East, 2028) was one of the top athletes in attendance regardless of class at the event. Standing in at a compact and athletic 5-foot-10, 156-pound frame with twitchy strength to the frame. Started the day by running the top 60-yard dash of the day at 6.52 with a 1.64 10-yard split, also testing near the top of the event in max jump height. At the plate the right-handed hitter swung a quick and upside bat, twitchy bat speed and the ball jumps when barreled, reaching a peak EV of 90.5 mph throughout the round. Defensively, the outfielder showed athletic actions and easy range with feel to field the ball cleanly, arm works over the top with accuracy working up to 82 mph"
