QUICK HITTERS (LISTED ALPHABETICALLY)

Tyler Bellush SS / OF / Ashley Ridge, SC / 2031

On the mound, Bellush separated himself even further.  He worked up to 84.4 mph with the fastball, an exceptional velocity mark for the class, while spinning it up to 2298 rpm.  His breaking ball at 69-71 mph showed quality shape with spin reaching 2550 rpm, giving him a potential swing-and-miss offering.  He also mixed a firm changeup at 72-73 mph to round out the arsenal. The combination of athleticism, offensive tools, and advanced pitching metrics makes Bellush one of the premier young prospects to follow in South Carolina's 2031 class.

Leland Forrester OF / RHP / Eastside, SC / 2030

On the mound, Forrester showed a projectable two-pitch mix for a 2030.  His fastball sat 74–80 mph and touched 82, a solid velocity band for the class from a 6-2/155 lb left-handed frame that carries easy projection.  He spun the heater at 2079 rpm, a quality spin rate that gives the pitch a chance to play up as velo develops. He paired it with a breaking ball in the 59–64 mph range spinning at 1962 rpm, a pitch with legitimate shape and separation from the fastball that flashes swing-and-miss potential.  The combination of a live left arm, projectable size, and two-way tools makes Forrester one of the more intriguing young arms to track in South Carolina's 2030 class.
