Starting on Opening Day, our scouts will be out covering the 2026 season, publishing scout notes and additional in-season content along the way, like Power Rankings updates, Player of the Week awards, and weekly top performers included inside Diamond Notes.

Each week during the high school season, we will provide a Hitter and Pitcher of the Week. All nominations are submitted by their high school coaches.

WEEK 5 | THOMAS LEEPER, RHP/1B, CHASKA

Chaska's Thomas Leeper tossed a no-hitter last week against the Benilde St. Margaret's Red Knights. The sophomore RHP only needed 84 pitches to get the job done while facing the minimum. 

Not too bad for a high level arm for the Hawks.
