In conjunction with our comprehensive in-game coverage throughout the 2026 season, we’ll publish this Daily Roundup to keep readers informed on the latest happenings across the state.

Muskego leaned on a dominant combined pitching shutout and an early offensive surge to secure a decisive 5-0 victory over the Waterford on Thursday. Muskego established command immediately in the bottom of the first inning. Following an early opportunity, Maddux Lessard launched a home run to left field, driving in a pair to put the Warriors on the board. The Warriors extended their advantage to 3-0 in the bottom of the third inning when Carter Nicolato ripped an RBI double to center field. Muskego continued to apply steady pressure as the game progressed, tacking on single insurance runs in both the fifth and sixth innings to safely distance themselves from the Wolverines. On the mound, Tyson Grulkowski earned the win for Muskego with a stellar start. The hurler navigated three and one-third scoreless innings, scattering five hits while striking out five and issuing zero walks. Mason Horn provided lockdown relief to comfortably complete the shutout, tossing three and two-thirds innings out of the bullpen. The left-handed pitcher surrendered just two hits and two walks while striking out four, emphatically punctuating the victory by striking out Mason Smith to record the game's final out. The Warhawks extended their advantage to 3-0 in the bottom of the second, aided by an RBI groundout off the bat of Jon Murkowski. Germantown completely broke the game open with a massive five-run explosion on five hits in the bottom of the third inning. The relentless frame featured run-scoring singles from Tristin Brooks, Vinny Inga, and Murkowski, followed by consecutive bases-loaded walks drawn by Ty Olszewski and Gordon to stretch the lead to 8-0. Manitowoc Lincoln answered with their lone run in the top of the fourth inning, getting on the board when Nick Minikel delivered an RBI single to capitalize on a defensive miscue. However, the Germantown offense answered emphatically in the bottom of the fifth as Gordon launched a towering two-run home run to left field. The Warhawks tacked on a final run in the bottom of the sixth to comfortably seal the shortened victory. Landon Hagland earned the victory on the mound with a brilliant, dominant performance. The southpaw tossed 6.0 superb innings, surrendering just one unearned run on a mere two hits while racking up six strikeouts and navigating only one walk to completely control the game. Bay Port rode a mind-boggling, 12-run explosion in the fourth inning to cruise past Appleton North in a 17-6 victory on Thursday at Bay Port High School. Bay Port struck first in the bottom of the first when Carson Hawley delivered a base hit to put the home team up early. Appleton North shifted the momentum in the top of the second, orchestrating a four-run rally fueled by RBI singles from Matthew Hietpas and Teegan Karpinske, a bases-loaded walk by Nathan Ramus, and a hit-by-pitch from Aedan Waterstreet to claim a 4-2 edge. The Pirates punched back immediately in the home half of the frame as Ethan Orlando and Eli Hart each launched long balls to swing the lead back to Bay Port at 5-4. Karpinske tied it back up for the Lightning in the third with another run-scoring single down the left-field line, and Owen Reuland lifted a sacrifice fly in the top of the fourth to give Appleton North a brief 6-5 advantage. Then came the bottom of the fourth. Bay Port completely demolished the deadlock by sending a carousel of batters to the plate, scoring 12 runs on a combination of disciplined eyes and raw power. Hart ignited the fireworks with his second home run of the game, a solo shot to right field. Cayden Heier smashed a two-run double, Tommy Berg ripped a two-run single, and the Pirates drew a relentless barrage of bases-loaded walks and hit-by-pitches from Graham Williams, Parker Broehm, Hart, Arty Adams, Drew LeClaire, and Orlando to utterly break the game open and trigger the shortened game. Quinn Boeckman earned the victory in relief for Bay Port. Entering out of the bullpen, Boeckman allowed two runs (one earned) on three hits over two and one-third innings, striking out two and walking one. Parker Lawson started on the hill, giving up four runs on four hits while striking out three and walking two across one and two-thirds innings. Thomas Carew and Aedan Waterstreet struggled in relief during the fourth-inning collapse, combining to yield nine runs before Isaak L’Esperance recorded the final outs of the frame. Milton managed to answer back in the bottom of the fifth, knotting the score at 1-1 courtesy of an RBI single from Charlie Fitzke. Joey Mikkelsen quickly restored the visitors' advantage with a run-scoring single in the top half of the sixth. The Red Hawks decisively snatched the lead for good in the bottom of the frame, highlighted by a pivotal three-run double off the bat of Easton Agnew. Landon Schwarz immediately followed up with an RBI single of his own to cap the explosive four-run frame and extend the Milton cushion to 5-2. Brady Ausen attempted to mount a late rally for Janesville Craig, launching a solo home run to left field in the top of the seventh before the comeback fell short. Ben Schultz turned in a reliable start for the Red Hawks, allowing just one earned run on five hits with one walk and three Ks over 5.1 innings of work. Jack Spielmann ultimately earned the win in relief, striking out three batters over the final 1.2 innings to close out the tight contest. Muma paced the attack with a perfect 3-for-3 day, including his pivotal home run, while Andrew Belott added a home run and a triple. Colton Franske, Cole Kugler, Carter Fry, and Belott each contributed multi-hit performances to the rally. On the mound, Eli Dreier earned the win for the Vikings, providing a dominant effort in relief by tossing 4.0 innings of two-run ball, racking up 8 Ks.
