Welcome to the MSHSAA Daily Roundup, where our Prep Baseball Missouri staff will provide readers with scores, game recaps, and highlights from the games that took place the day before. In conjunction with our comprehensive in-game coverage throughout the 2026 season, we’ll publish this Daily Roundup to keep readers informed on the latest happenings across the state.

Liberty North outlasted Lee's Summit North in a 13-8 slugfest, headlined by a six-run third inning and a three-hit performance from William Bologna. Ty Lange paced the offense with three RBIs, while Harrison Tritz provided four solid innings on the mound to help secure the victory. Lee's Summit North remained competitive throughout thanks to Micah Neal, who went 3-for-3 with four RBIs in the loss.

Liberty dominated Park Hill South in a 7-1 victory, fueled by a brilliant complete-game performance from left-hander Grady Coppinger, who racked up 11 strikeouts while allowing just two hits. The offense broke the game open with a four-run fourth inning, highlighted by two-RBI efforts from both Derek Wilson and Kam Gillespie. Park Hill South’s lone run came courtesy of a solo home run by Brody Cunningham, who accounted for half of his team’s hits on the day.

Nixa rallied for a 6-5 victory over Carl Junction, led by Wyatt Francis’s perfect 4-for-4 performance at the plate and Miller McCoy’s clutch three-RBI day. McCoy drove in the decisive go-ahead run with a sixth-inning single, while Henry Hoesch came on to secure the save following scoreless relief appearances from Evan Bruder and the Nixa bullpen. Carl Junction’s offense was highlighted by a resilient second inning where they scored five runs, anchored by a bases-clearing three-run single.

Staley rallied late to defeat Blue Springs South 5-2, pulling ahead in the seventh inning behind RBI singles from Landon Schreifels and Brandon Perkins. Connor Jones earned the victory on the mound, striking out nine batters and allowing only four hits over six strong innings of work. Blue Springs South was led by Bennett Collins, who drove in both of his team's runs with a two-out single in the fourth.

Willard cruised to a dominant 15-0 victory over Hillcrest, powered by Jackson Redd's four RBIs and a perfect 3-for-3 hitting performance from Jarrett McGee. Sean Slagle led the way from the mound, striking out four and allowing only two hits over nearly four scoreless innings of work. Hillcrest's offense was held in check throughout the contest, with Jackson Miller and Noah Mahoney managing the team's only hits.

Kirkwood’s effort was led by Liam Coats, who tallied two hits, and Ben Hoganson, who drove in the team's lone run.

Despite the loss, Lindbergh out-hit their opponents behind Jon Calcaterra, who finished with two hits and all three of his team's RBIs. Jack Politte went five innings for Lindbergh, while Carson Leuthauser paced the Eureka offense with a multi-hit performance.

Despite the lopsided score, Camdenton saw multi-hit games from Logan Dudley and Tanner Scott, while Hunter Lane drove in the team's lone run in the first inning.

Braiden Schmitt earned the complete-game victory, surrendering just three hits and one run over seven innings to outlast Harrisonville's Brodie McNeal, who struck out six in a two-hit effort. Despite the loss, Harrisonville’s Levi Hall led all hitters with two hits while Asher Hall provided the team's lone RBI.

Excelsior Springs outlasted Smithville 3-2 in a tight pitchers' duel, aided by Landon Marcum’s six strong innings of one-run ball and a balanced offensive attack. Landon Clark and Cruz Lloyd each drove in runs to help secure the win, while Brodey Seely paced the team with two hits. Smithville remained competitive behind multi-hit performances from Trevin Nitsche and Quentin Morse, as well as a solid six-inning start from Barett Iverson.

Jaymeson Forest and Ben Winterer each recorded two hits and two RBIs to lead the way, while Ryan Whitworth secured the win with five strikeouts in relief. Despite the loss, Wright City’s Tyler Martin provided a significant spark by driving in four runs on the afternoon.

Scott City cruised to a 12-0 victory over Chaffee, highlighted by Kaden Lowery’s dominant no-hit performance through nearly six innings with seven strikeouts. The offense backed Lowery with 14 hits, including three-hit efforts from Evan Boswell and Caden Graff, while Lane Miller drove in a team-high three runs. Chaffee's Jordan Essner provided a bright spot on the mound despite the loss, striking out five batters over his four and two-thirds innings of work.
