2026 AAA Player of the Week: Week Eight

We will be doing the Player of the Week honors at the beginning of each week with submissions due to [email protected] by 8:00 PM Monday night.
Each week, we meticulously review box scores and submissions from high school coaches to select our Player of the Week. The eighth week of action featured several standout performances, but one player rose above the rest.
After analyzing tons of great performances and submissions, RHP Blaine Van Hilsen (Har-Ber HS, 2028) earns our Week Eight Player of the Week honors.
This week, Sophomore Pitcher Blaine Van Hilsen shined bright for his team. On the mound, the young pitcher tossed a gem. En route to a series sweep, Van Hilsen tossed a no-hitter while racking up 11 punchouts along the way to a game 1 win. The righty has been a consistent starter on the mound for Har-Ber this season and looks to continue his success as we close in on the end of the year. Congrats on earning Player of the Week Blaine!
