The Super 15 came back for another year in Kansas City and over delivered in terms of talent on the national scale, featuring teams from 13 states across the country with plenty of players drawing national attention. The 114 teams battled it out over as many as 8 games on their way to securing one of two titles across the two divisions. Down below we'll break down each division winner and their championship counterpart as well as my picks for the top players of the weekend as well as some scouting notes from the action. Let's kick things off with my Super 15 standouts.   

2030 C/UTL Chris Worrell Jr. (Oak Creek, WI): Amongst all the 2029s this weekend Chris Worrell Jr. stood out as one of the best players on the field regardless of class. The Wisconsin native finished the his 5 game slate 9/16 with 4XBH including an opposite field home run, while holding things down at a variety of premium positions around the yard. The 6'0, 195 pound left handed hitter features some advanced actions at the plate with the ability to shorten up and drive the baseball with two strikes. Beyond a mature showing at the dish, Worrell seperated himself starting at C, SS, and 3rd base across the 5 game slate with the athleticism and natural feel for the game to excel in each look. The already Impressive metrics and standout performance in game will make Worrell a must follow in the state of Wisconsin as he continues to play out his career.

2029 INF/C Truth Dedmon (Muskogee, OK): Dedmon was a mainstay for production in the heart of a championship winning Canes GP - Tulsa team, logging a 12/21 weekend at the plate while racking up double digit RBIs. The 6'0, 195 pound right handed hitter showed an aggressive look at the plate with the barrel control and strength to drive the baseball all over the yard. Beyond an impressive showing at the dish, Dedmon found himself as a productive defender in both corner infield spots, with some sneaky athleticism and a strong arm across the diamond. The Muskogee product will be one to keep eyes on as he continues to improve the baseline strength and athleticism. 

2029 MIF Colin Peterson (Pewaukee, WI): Wisconsin's #6 overall prospect came in and delivered as advertised with a strong left handed swing pairing well with some stellar defense up the middle. Peterson finished the 6 game slate with close to double digit hits, courtesy of an accurate barrel that lives in the zone and strong plate awareness. Along with his strong showing at the plate, the 6'0, 165 pound middle infielder flashed some strong lateral movement along with a strong internal clock and some developing arm strength across the diamond. As Peterson continues to add strength to the long levered frame, he will continue to garner plenty of attention in the 2029 class. 

2029 OF AJ Bernard (Coppell, TX): There are hitters who get hot and start to see beach balls at the plate, and then there was AJ Bernard at the Super 15. The 5'9, 165 pound outfielder racked up an 11/16 weekend with a HR, and 9XBH at the plate through 7 games. Bernard showed off an electric set of hands moving an accurate barrel through the zone in a hurry, generating some impressive bat speed for the frame. The Texas native showed off the foundation for a top end speed/power combo, with no ceiling in sight after his showing in Kansas City in the Super 15. 

2029 UTL/RHP Cooper Tappe (Staples-Motley Senior, MN): Tappe was tasked with the feat of neutralizing one of the top 2029 lineups in the country to kick off the weekend and battled through 3 innings on the hill, racking up 6 punch outs in the process. The 5'10 righty pitched with a quiet confidence, showing off some impressive arm speed and running the FB up to 87. Beyond the FB, Tappe broke off two distinct breaking balls maxing out north of 2500RPMs with the slider at times touching 2700, with the feel to land as well as run them off the zone to swing and miss. At the plate, Tappe was just as impressive in his 5 game sample, finishing up with a 6/13 line including a pair of XBH against some upper 8's arms. The left handed hitting shortstop showed off an extended toe tap mechanism with a slight uphill swing path, leveraging out the 5'10 frame well and showing off his ability to lift the baseball to the pull side. Tappe will only improve as the frame continues to develop and will no doubt find himself near the top of Minnesota's 2029 state rankings.

Indiana Bulls Black National found themselves as a heavy favorite coming into the weekend and delivered with nothing less than expected in their 7-0-1 title run. The Bulls compiled a run differential of +49 over the course of the weekend including scoring 42 runs across their 4 bracket play games to earn their banner. Leading the charge for the Bulls offensively fell on bats across the order, with Adler Kellams, Kiptyn Kluesner, and Paddy Ayers stepping up to take the reins. 

Finalist

Impact 2029 came all the way from Roanoke, TX to put on a show for the PBKC staff en route to a championship showing. The Impact offense delivered over 10 runs per game across their 6 game slate on the way to the title, headlined by stellar weeks from names like AJ Bernard and Carter Consilio and anchored by the two way prowess of Cohen McNulty.

Canes Great Plains - Tulsa brought their bats to the ballpark and didn't let them cool off for the entirety of their 8 game slot, averaging just under 10 runs per game. Canes GP worked their way into the #5 overall seed before a pair of come from behind bracket wins in the opening round and the quarter final before two big wins to take home the title. The Lineup found production from top to bottom to produce at such a high level with notable weekends from Cade Bartmier, Truth Dedmon, and William Jacobi in the heart of the order to power the offense. 

Finalist 

Southwest Show's 2029 group delivered nothing but good clean baseball across their 8 games showing off a knack for producing runs as well as mistake free defense en route to a championship showing. The Show plated just under 9 runs a game on their way to the title, stepping it up to 10 per game in the bracket rounds behind steady production from their top 5 in the order in Bryce Inhofe, Kaden Brantley, Madox McKay, Easton Vandeventer and Adam Stewart.
