Tuscaloosa Summer ID: Pitcher Reports

TUSCALOOSA, AL - The 2026 Summer ID Tour made its penultimate stop on Tuesday, July 7th as Prep Baseball Alabama traveled to Northridge High School in Tuscaloosa, AL for the Tuscaloosa Summer ID and Tuscaloosa Rising Stars ID. The event featured prospects from the 2027-2032 graduating classes who participated in a full day of evaluations and data collection in front of the Prep Baseball Alabama staff.
Attendees participated in a pro-style workout that included laser-timed 60-yard dashes using VALD Performance gates, batting practice with TrackMan technology, and defensive evaluations with arm strength metrics recorded at each position. The event served as an early summer opportunity for players to update their profiles, collect verified data, and showcase their tools heading into a busy summer schedule. In addition to collecting valuable data, players were also evaluated for some of Prep Baseball's premier national events, including the Senior Future Games (2027s), Future Games (2028s), Southeast Super Sophomore Games (2029s), and Junior Future Games (2030-2031s).
Below, we take an individualized look at all of the pitchers from the Summer ID portion of the event.
Elijah Banks, Hillcrest (AL), 2028 |
Positional Profile: LHP
Body: 6-9, 245-pounds. Extra large frame with some present strength.
Delivery: Longer and lanky motion.
Arm Action: LH. Mid 3/4 slot with longer action.
FB: T83, 80-82 mph. Some ASR, with good spin through pitch. T2185, 2086 average rpm.
CB: 70-71 mph. 1-7 shape with solid break and late life. Hammer. T2195, 2138 average rpm.
CH: 76-76 mph. Killed the spin with late tumble to the arm side. T1031, 1031 average rpm.
SPLT: 76-76 mph. Good depth and feel for pitch. Plays well off FB.
Cash Crow, Oneonta (AL), 2027 |
Positional Profile: 1B/RHP
Body: 6-5, 235-pounds. Longer frame with some present strength.
Delivery: Quick to the plate, almost slide step down the mound.
Arm Action: RH. High 3/4 slot with longer action. Athletic.
FB: T83, 82-83 mph. Some ASR. Good accuracy. good pitch. T1902, 1785 average rpm.
CB: 69-72 mph. 11/5 shape with good accuracy. T2308, 2234 average rpm.

Delivery: Gets into legs well, good tempo down the mound and rotates around his front leg well.
